It's 2 AM in the morning and I'm still looking at the Sonic movie trailer just to see how hated it is.

It's current over 10M views and has 155K likes to 238K dislikes

So a 39.4% overall like rating.

I have no hope at all that the movie is going to be good. Sonic looks awful, we don't need the military or even actual people other than eggman, it's just... Ugh. Doesn't help that as a Sonic fan that I've been let down multiple times. Actually I think I'm very pessimistic towards Sonic now these days. At least detective Pikachu looks interesting.

Also unrelated topic, but I couldn't find where to post this but I'm just now realizing one change in Ultimate 3.0.

Looks like the turnout will be around 30 people for Ultimate Singles, and there are a couple of players who've competed at major tourneys (like Pound).
Seems like the most notable one is Lucius, who is a main.

And there's also the incredibly slim, but still plausible outcome that a big name player could sign up (maybe).

I've got till tonight to sign up, so I'll think it over the course of today.

Assuming Thanos memes die out by then, they'll come back in full force once we see characters like Doc Louis or Rodin begin the "Smash Bros. Initiative". Lots of the main protagonists from their respective franchises end up becoming some kind of Marvel Superhero Expy, like Donkey Kong for the Hulk, Sonic for Quicksilver, Mega Man for Iron Man, and even Shulk for Doctor Strange. This is also assuming third-party characters get to stick for this impossible cinematic universe.

Oh, and cue obligatory Stan Lee Tier cameos with Sakurai.
