Funny.. when was the last time Fiction won a Brawl tournament? At least in Melee, a persons skill is much praised.. entirely unlike Brawl lol.

But he uses... MK... lol jk.

But honestly, even if DSF is amazing, it's just hard for me to praise his skill in the game(or even M2K's skill). Maybe it's because Brawl is just too simple.

IIRC, Hugo also said that skill in Brawl is not nearly as praiseworthy as skill in Melee in his post on why he quit Brawl. And no matter how you look at it... it's true.

Your missing the point. He is amazing I know, but like I said, skill is not THAT praiseworthy in Brawl. When you play other fighting games (good ones), you'll know exactly what I mean. I shouldn't be telling this to you Leon.

I play plenty of fighting games and I disagree. Anyone who has the ability to win over several hundreds of other seriously competitive players on a regular basis (regardless of what game it is or how he does it) has an extremely praiseworthy skill.

And if Brawl is a terribly unbalanced game, perhaps that's even more reason to praise DSF, because not many other people can utilize the brokenness as well as he can.

Is that what fighting games are about? Definitely not. But it's still praiseworthy.
The reason why Brawl sucks is not because it's unbalanced, it's because.... never mind, I'm not in the mood to explain it. Once you see the game at a basic level, you'll be disgusted. Then you'll understand why skill is isn't that praiseworthy. Man.. I sound like a broken record.
