In my veiw, Fox has some pretty good things about him when you know how to use him. He may not be Top tier, but he didnt lose all of his good traits from the switch over to Brawl.

If you bring in a setup you don't have to pay the venue fee of $5.

And having a no venue fee for this 4,000 sqr venue should be quite the bargin.

Yes, and If you are only able to bring the wii by itself or a tv by itself you still get part of the venue fee off.

Wow, I really didn't think the tier list would affect sonic being in lower tier events in NJ. I thought the entrant # might take a shot if he was removed. Oh well, less money to spend I suppose.

I didn't say people wouldn't come. I specifically mentioned the attendance entrant number for low tiers. I can only speak for myself but Sonic not being allowed obviously removes my own entry. I would assume it may discourage some others as well, but like I said, I can't speak for others.

He's obviously higher than he should be anyway(should be near the top of D)

I don't think he's good either, but you have to provide some basis for what characters should be allowed in a low tier tournament. SBR members feel he's worthy of C tier, just like Sheik. Sheik players could come in here and complain that she should still be moved down a spot and thus be low tier tourny worthy.

I don't think you should just say "these three tiers plus this character cus i think SBR is wrong." Obv SBR is wrong on a lot of stuff, but when you are basing it off the OFFICIAL tier list then I don't feel special exceptions are justified. It's not really fair to the other characters when you just base this off your opinion.

I would agree but I am also in favor of including sheik.

When it comes down to it, its puff's choice. He'll have to debate who he wants in and what he feels will improve or lower the quality of his low tier event. I don't mind having a main availible, or saving money. It's not worth discussing when we dont have a final say so i'll leave it at that.

If you allow Sonic, then Luigi and everyone else down should be involved. It's bull**** that you think you get to change the rules to a low tier tourney because you run the event. Follow the rules of the community.

Cutting the tier list to where it gives a mojority of the characters a good chance and allowing chars like Nolimar and Single IC is good. It allows more diversity without one character on the list being to powerful. Luigi would **** every character allowed and kill the whole purpose of giving these chars an event where they can win. Sonic doesnt do this and the other characters don't either.

They also aren't the rules of the community. The whole community didn't decide on that tier list or its very clear the sonic users didnt or he would be much lower.

Yeah I lost to pride legit but I didn't have an advantage over him that would allow me to get a win with minimal effort such as Luigi would with the lower part of the cast.

Sonic is nowhere near Luigi. You say no johns right after explaining that malcolm lost due to having the flu....

The tier list is pretty good but it doesnt mean sonic should be that high. Malcolm and shugo are 2 very big reasons why he is C tier and both agree with me that he is too high. I don't know about this celebration on the sonic boards bc every sonic main that I've talked to thinks hes being given to much praise and doesnt think he should be above D tier.

Having Luigi in wouldnt really bother me anyway, I just think that comparing the Sonic with Luigi isnt accurate bc luigi is much better

I think Luigi is too low, but that's not the issue. Tiers are made for a reason. Don't call it a low tier, call it "bad characters and whatever i want in it because I don't know about tier lists or why their made tournament"
