Plus, what's the point in promoting a game solely for Japan if it didn't even make a big impact here? Reviving the franchise shouldn't involve wasting a spot in the roster on such a minor character.

I was talking a bout specifically saying that MIke or Agent J have higher chances.

I still strongly believe Takamaru can easily get over K.Rool and I stand by that belief.

All the characters I mentioned earlier are the definition of a "space waster" to me.

(I bet the Ice Climbers and Pokemon Trainer were "space wasters" to you, huh?)

That aside...
I don't think Ice Climbers made any major impact here nor anywhere around the world..
Neither did Kid Icarus.

And I don't think spaces are limited, when there's a gathered team of elite specialists taking serious caution in who gets in and who becomes an AT. That's why I KNOW the roster will be balanced.

That's beyond the point, Mike Jones doesn't have more chance than most characters, anybody with a brain would know that.

Yes, but they are far more nostalgic and unique around the world than Mike Jones. Metroid was Kid Icarus' sister game, and I remember playing it on the NES. Pit was also in that outrageous Captain N cartoon, and had the the successful port to the GBA. Ice Climbers are also nostalgic and had some importance in Japan and Europe. I actually knew who these characters were when they were introduced. Mike Jones however, does not share these same retro qualities, and his game being introduce on the VC doesn't necessarily mean he's important enough to be in Brawl. Oh, and I was actually one of the people who wanted PT in Brawl. I'm not trying to antagonize you, but I believe some of your logic and reasoning is faulty.

Its a good roster but few problems that i have with are
1.Mario and the Legend of Zelda franchise are big 2 me. If i have to chose it would be geno, and ww Link

They are Nintendo's biggest franchises.

I'm through with this subject already, cause it's a waste of time dealing with biased minds.

But do remember... Mr. Game and Watch, Ice Climbers, Pit, Dr. Mario and Roy didn't get through popularity alone. Just letting you know that's 1/5th of Melee roster.

So if the roster is 50 characters as you estimated, there's a good chance we'll get 10 non-popular characters and you'll just have to either suck it in, or live with them. Sakurai has gathered the very best to work on the game, not some random GameStop-shelf people.

You have to think of move sets and functionality when you make the characters. Some of your ideas are good, but some are just unreasonable. And some characters need to gain their own moves like falco paper mario and young link other wise its just no good.

I think Krystal and Falco are the best representation for the StarFox series, myself.

However, this list definitely needs more Isaac. Especially considering it has Ashley in it, and she has no chance of making it whatsoever. More deserving characters should definitely be in with her.

Keep in K. Rool I say for all those who doubt it. I mean he's been the antagonist for many DK games alike, and has continued to plot evil schemes throughout the years. Besides, we need someone evil from that series. Not to mention, through all the forms he's been in, he has massive potential for a moveset.

Good job with the roster though mate, the only ones I have high doubts about are Stafy, Mr. Kawashima, and the Animal Crossing Villager (maybe this could work as an AT, along with starfy).
