There's only so many times I can feel like watching the trailer. I'll have to watch the presentation to get a better idea of the characters.
But I did definitely notice that Pyra's moves take longer to finish, so I guess she really is slower but stronger. I don't know by how much, and wonder how much more damage she does, but yeah.

I crunched the numbers just now, and narrowed it down that at the earliest, we'll see Pyra and Mythra release on March 10th, 16 days before our next amiibo wave. With that, all that leaves is when we'll get Mr. Sakurai Presents "Pyra & Mythra". Here're my findings in presentation-to-release gaps:

• : 2 day gap. (July 28th, 2019 - July 30th, 2019)
• : 0 day gap. (Aired on day of release)
• : 0 day gap. (Aired on day of release)
• : 12 day gap. (January 16th, 2020 - January 28th, 2020)
• : 7 day gap. (June 22nd, 2020 - June 29th, 2020)
• : 10 day gap. (October 3rd, 2020 - October 13th, 2020)
• : 5 day gap. (December 17th, 2020 - December 22nd, 2020) (Technically 0 day gap if counting Sephiroth Challenge)

So at the maximum, we have a 12 day gap before the earliest possible release date for the Aegis. So at the very least, we should see a presentation next Friday. Thoughts, anybody?

(Only thing is again the assumption that one of the attacks is an unpowered smash attack, but I'm convinced now that it's dash attack)

I started playing again to try and finish up all the quests in NG+ and grind all the Rare Blades up to S+ trust. Had a fresh file on another account to replay the story but I'm not sure if I'll continue that one just yet.

Well, that particular challenge run I thought up would have to be NG+ to actually be possible, but that means I gotta finish up the last chapter which...wouldn't take that long honestly given how overpowered the team is.

I think I may have done my NG+ run too soon though. As good as the game is, it is very meaty and may be hard to marathon only a few months apart, but to each their own. Maybe some people can play through it in quick succession. Though, I've already grinded the main driver's affinity charts out including the hidden ones (custom difficulty helped out there). Guess I could go hunting for rare enemies.

Though, more DLC would have been nice. More content with the main cast, especially Rex and the Aegis girls.

It was hard to see Mythra's up smash because the smash ball was in the way, but I saw it more clearly in this video, and it looks like the sword spins on top.

I think it's multi hit. It's hard to tell but I think it hit twice, and you can see the sword still spinning after.

You don't remember what Robin does for a Levin up smash in this game? That one only hits once but looks similar.

I really don't follow resetera much, but it seems to have gotten worse and worse and very only 1 side is allowed opions there. that really stiffles free thought in an echo chamber like that

I'll be honest I'm a big fan of the smash outfits.

I've had mixed feelings about their default designs with how people viewed them, and would've liked for the smash outfits to be the default ones in XC2.
I have no problem with fan service if it's something you can choose on top, like extra outfits you can give characters, or choices you make that lead to certain cut scenes, etc. but if Nintendo wants to have more a family friendly image, then they should've thought of it sooner

As someone who watches a lot of anime, I'm kind of used to there being fan service here and there, so it's not a big deal to me, but it does bother me when people look at characters I like as sex objects XD


It's not sexist to have certain feminine features and wear clothes that show skin, so I don't even consider their original designs sexist, women can be how they are and wear what they want. The issues comes in when lots of people start focusing too much on sexuality. imo.

Well all I know is that I'm perfectly satisfied with their designs in smash
I'm really excited to play them and it'll definitely get me back into smash for quite a while.

Some of those are really beautiful. I'd love to see them. Don't think the swimsuits would show up, if we go by the edits, which is fine with me, more space for the others (with tights, most likely). Animals ear? yes plz XD
