I plan on going to coops party, but I do have a few questions:
1. If I stay the night, would I be able to get a ride from coops house to the tournament? If so, should I bring my cube and TV to coops?

If I were in some national Pokemon tournament, I wouldn't tell my opponent a part of my team and ask for advice. That stuff can be asked beforehand at Smogon.
That just ruins the spirit of the game.
I sure as hell wouldn't like it if you told me your whole team and then played me. I would know what's coming.

Spirit of the game is a term I can't stand anymore. I play the Pokemon TCG, and the judges, tournament organizers, and moderators on the main forum try to uphold the spirit of the game. This in term actually somewhat ruins the game for me, since I play competitively. In cardgames like Yugioh, and Magic the Gathering, players often watch other players between games, or if they didn't enter, watch their friends, and watch the top players go at it. It;s entertaining, and you learn things. It's also a part of scouting; watching players before the tournament to learn what the local metagame is. watching potential threatening players when you're done with your game to figure out what to do.
Pokemon POP doesn't allow players to watch tournament games. This ruins one of the most entertaining factors of competitive play, because they believe that watching other players play could be scouting, which in turn is not part of the spirit of the game, which is also bull****, since to be honest, in pokemon tcg, knowing what your opponent does makes VERY little difference in how the game will be played out. It does make a huge difference in more competitive games, such as MTG and Yugioh, which encorperate a side-deck, and games are played best 2 out of 3, as opposed to pokemons 1 game.

Wobbles: It was nice meeting you. It was also nice meeting someone who is willing to use any legal methood, cheap or not to win. Many people I know in all sorts of different games just refuse to do anything the deem "cheap." It's very refreshing. I enjoyed talking to you, despite the conversation being kinda short. I'd like to meet you again sometime.
Axe: Good seeing you again, and I'm glad I actually talked to you this time around, unlike at the RR, and at SV Twisted. uair under Battlefield won the day. Chilling at Coopers house was pretty fun after Jetfours car left, and there was actually room to sit in that room with some level of comfort. Also; Index all the way. Stepmania is too good. <3

I did try to get you to play me a few times at the tournament venue, but you always ended up busy with something else. I'm glad we got to get a few games at Coopers. I was very happy doing so well against your Falco with Zelda. Mewtwo caught me off guard. I had no idea what to do, and just began to throw **** out, hoping it would work. It was pretty entertaining watching you play stepmania, and you showing us various things, like acrobatic runs on HRC, and that 0 to death with Yoshi, despite the countless botched attempts.
Tee ay eye: Nice meeting you, and I had a lot of fun playing against you. I'm still pretty annoyed with myself at the fox ditto on pokemon stadium. it was pretty saddening to die due to a badly angled firefox. x.x Good ****, regardless, and the games gave me a boost in confidence in my abilities as a Fox player. After playing against you, and watching yours and Forwards games later on, I've decided to give up on tech training, and focus only on improving my approach. After the games I played against you, and the games I played against shiv, despite not being NEARLY as technical, I was happy to realize that I could usually pretty easily read your movements. I'm happy with how well I did, despite not being nearly as experienced, or nearly as good of a player. You, and the mexican players are probably what made me come to realize exactly how unprepared I am against Falco, with Fox, and against other characters.

Like, no offense to Misael, but Axe and Vectorman were DEFINITELY better than him. Hell, I would have been the 3rd placer if I hadn't SDed vs Misael on my last stock last match in our winner's semis match (I was ahead by about 70%, and I could have killed him EASILY) and I know I definitely didn't deserve to be top 4 at that tournament, let alone THIRD.

Sad to say... this will be my last tournament for a good while...."a few months" i go to basic next week.. i'm a miss all this competetive stuff and everything... thanks for the great memories and **** tucson.. it was freaking sweet....but i'll always have this...

alright, well about posting results thats gonna be a little difficult due to the fact that i dont have access to my now ex-gfs comp, and they were saved on there. . . sorry guys 8( but in good news we should have the videos up pretty soon as soon as i can get coop situated with the capture card or i finish moving
