wow............. 5 whole pages with at least 3 johns on each.... thats classic.... but anyway i aint think the big tv's lagged and jfox beat jigglymaster on that tv and eggm kinda lost to him wen the lag wasnt botherin him at a prior tourney..... eggm ur really really good and all but ppl lose.... just face it u lose u lose.... if u cant b as technical as u want to then use ur brain to win the match instead of tech skill.... and eggm ur too good to try to justify your loses... it dont make u any worse of a player..... but i think it makes u a worse of a person if u act all pissy wen u lose u feel me

I was more angry about the situation than the loss, but the loss certainly didn't help things, anyways i'm sorry I did it I'll apologize again.. it was just upsetting since I was allowed to play on the normal tv's up until my first really tough match.

well i finally got to this thread to see the results ... cuz of work today ... grrr ...well yea i just wanted to say that tourney was great ... except i didn't get recorded -_- ... i wanted to definately watch how many times m2k and cactuar quit life'd me and dionis lol ... also the infamous double misfire FTW on yoshi's lmfao ... those were epic quit life's lol ... so yea some shoutouts YAYYYY

I think I am starting to see M2K's theory: the more you play a character with a random variable, the more it happens. So like Ryoko gets more death turnips with peach. Dire gets a bunch of nine hammers, and I have been playing luigi enough to start getting ridiculous misfires.
The only thing I regret about this tournament is not grabbing the edge in the teams semi finals. Falcon's edge roll is too long. I could have down B stalled or air dodged onto the stage. My bad velocity :-(. But Venom and Alucard deserved the victory, you guys are amazing. Good ****.
I had a lot of fun at this tourny. I didn't notice any lag, but I play luigi, who sort of lags himself :-). The key to playing on bigger tv's is to recline in you chair rather than leaning forward. Then you can process whats going on better.
And about the brackets, I have had to play Cactuar 3rd round in probably 70-80% of the tournaments we both attend. I had to play him at Cat 3 and there were like 190 people there or something.
Anyway, I really enjoyed playing the NY people. You guys are mad good. I hope to see you at more events. And as usual the local NJ smashers made the tourny hot and amazing.

yeah that t.v i have to say was kinda laggy even with all those cables i dont think it shouldve been used,i was all the way to the left of the tv and the farther i was from the t.v the darker things were so i tried to the left side as much as possible.so yea..that tv sucks lol

ok ... the tv was annoying to play on ... the lighting is ****ing horrible .. becuz smash is a game u need to aware of everything happening around u ... at least on teams ... so i don't care wat ur opinion is on this tv being laggy or not ryoko ... but people paid the money ... they should have a preference ... also ... u see mlg has set rules for wat tv's they use for a reason ... this obviously shows why ... o and don't bother saying sumthing as a reply like ... no johns about losing bcuz i think i basically won doubles .. cuz right now i dont' see myself beating the smash android m2k and cactuarz on teams ... so 2nd in my eyes was pretty much 1st lmfao... so yea quit life

I actually preferred the massive tvz to the little ones. everything I did on those looked so dramatic. not only that but it felt the same as playing on a small one but better. and ryoko made the quality on the plasmas amazing. so dude, I'm with you on this. but like alukard said, don't even bother posting a rebuttle. you are always going to get complainers. if they don't like it, they need to quit.

Some of you aren't getting the point. I don't mind it when people are making valid complaints about undesirable issues that are actually there. However, few things piss me off as much as complaints about nonexistent issues, in this case lag on the CRT RP HDTVs. It offers absolutely no help and simply wastes time, breath, and keystrokes. It is perhaps my bitterness from having to dredge through the muck that is the Brawl Discussion posts rubbing onto here, but the premise is the same.
Anyone who johned about lag on those TVs, do let us know when the sky is falling in your area.

at TGP the TV's were so laggy it was too hard to play matches on almost any TV until Ryoko fixed them with the cables. Stop complaining you can take the lag off of my TV's anytime Dave

I think when people have trouble on a tv they immediately just say lag .. regardless if that was the issue or not, anyways since like 5-6 people had issues on those big screens no one should be forced to play on em anymore IMO. However with the cables those are great for tourney matches where people don't mind and lagless friendlies.
Well Eggm apologized, and people came forward and said they were unhappy with the big TV's as well. We don't need like 948231049 more posts criticizing Dr Eggman, Ryoko, and/or WoZ and telling stories like "this one time at some place there was a laggy tv and I lost."

idk.. I was so annoyed by teams.. I just didn't feel like entering.. WoZ gave me every oppurtunity to enter.. and I just ignored it. that was my fault. but I did have some amazing friendlies, and I got molested at nintendo puzzle collection .. lolz. I'll enter next time though
