Anybody here on the Atlantic Coast going to actually evacuate for these Hurricans if or when they strike?

I live right next to the coast so my family might.

Just don't know how bad they are right now..

IDK, there are mixed reports about whether it will hit the coast or not, but if Ike hits then the one behind it is likely to hit as well. I don't live by the coast, but I have some friends near Galveston that are paying close attention to this.

Hurricane Gustav ****ed up my hometown pretty badly. I am still not allowed to enter the state, yet. The prediction as of last night is that it's going straight for the gulf. If it comes near again, I'm leaving again. Oddly enough my cat is named Ike, and he's a badass.

Cause seriously, last time Miami was hit with a hurricane hard was before I was even born.
Ike is gonna let me skip a couple of days of school and get a bit of work done.
I don't know its direct path, but at least maybe Hanna will hit us.
Also, dr.mario guy, many of my friends who play Brawl have said that when we first heard it in the morning.
Gustav did seem pretty bad though... That's why I like Tropical storms more, as long as they're somewhat quick.

Anyway, when Fay hit, we had some unlucky damage with a transformer that stood in my backyard. The top started on fire from either lightening or something hitting the top. Pole caught on fire, we were evacuated until, like, 9:00am for repairs and such because they thought the pole would fall on our house or something. Here's hoping Ike doesn't pull off anything worse than that.
