Tournament @ DeVry in Pomona Sept 22th 2007!! (Saturday)

Also I think I might be selling some food items.
um.. I don't have a lot of money, so I can't stock up on too much.
I'd just give it out for free, but I need to reimburse the club,
and it wouldn't be too bad to make a few extra dollars via fund raising.
but yeah, I'm looking at Pizza:
1 slice for $1
3 slices for $2
and I'm going to get sprite and root beer, lol.
(and I'll put it in an ice chest to keep them cool)
1 for $.50 (u save $.30 from the vending machine)
And then there's the quicky combo
6 slices of pizza and 2 sodas for $5
(basically 2 ($2 for 3 pizza slices), and 2 sodas)
I'll probably only have like 4 boxes of pizza,
and 12 sprites, and 12 roots beers... so... ^_^; lol
if your hungry, want to save some gas and time,
and don't want to risk forfeiting a match
(because you left to get food and I had no other matches
to stall with for you, and couldn't afford to wait for ya),
...get it fast. :D

I can't leave the event, because I think I and one other are the only people going to be there running it. (therefore the rest would be participants). That second person can't drive. I need to be there to keep it running smoothly and making sure it ends before the skewl closes etc.
Secondly, its on the way to skewl, so I'll have it before I get to the event.
Otherwise I would, and I'd charge $6 dollars per pizza,
that extra dollar would be for gas and taxes,
then the rest I'll give to the club.
It would be far more efficient. ^_^
However again, I have to stay at the event to manage it,
and my comrade that'll be helping me on that day can't drive.
edit: @ Mike: lol, yeah I'm pretty sure I will. XD lol (didn't expect so many :D *w* )

(Was considering increasing it.) Later though, (not for this tourney), I think my group has found a place that makes GOOD pizza, and like the slices are AWESOME!! So I've heard. The moment we get that worked out, I'll post up pictures. :3

I didn't expect SOOOOO many people!!! O_O
so one of my concerns is finishing before the skewl closes :O
which is 6pm.
Now, I talked to the ASB prez, and
he said he's going to talk to some higher power or something
who will then talk to the security guard,
to tell him to let us finish. :3
so hopefully this won't be an issue.
But to reduce the going over time,
I'm hoping to get more tvs!!!
So I'm bringing one from my house,
and a friend is bringing another one!!
So we're guaranteed 6 tvs!!!

Library tvs- 3
My tv - 1
My friend's tv - 1
All of them are around 14" I think,
so they are dissent enough to play with,
we won't have any ridiculously small ones.
And then, one guy (here on this forum, think it was mike)
was proposing the possibility of someone else bringing one.
If that's true, sweet, that's 7.
I'm trying to get 10.
but as of right now, its unlikely,
because I don't know too many people that would have a t.v.
(that's at least 14")
So, what I need you guys to do, if you don't mind staying through the whole tourney,
plz bring your game cubes, game, and memory (ya know how it goes)

This is to keep us all cool.
I noticed when I play, if its hot,
it ruins my game play and I become irritable.
Its a biological aspect,
so it would be cool to eliminate it,
and therefore maximize game play,
and prevent irritability.
I apologize for not thinking about these elements in advance,
again, I wasn't expecting so many ^_^; lol
so I'm doing the best I can to manage this thing
with my limitations. :3
I also got more of the members of OGC to help run it. :3

It doesn't!! That's why we're using it
bwahhaha!! The one in the LARGE commons does though,
and very badly. T_T it makes me sad, else we'd be using it too
but ask Neighborhood P, Fabien, and anyone else who's played on it. ^_^

@ Conner: wow! tight! lol and thx for bringing stuff, if the tv is TOO small though, I don't think we'll use it for the actual matches. ^_^; I don't want 'not being able to see where your char is' being a factor that decides a match, lol.

tourny should be siqq and go fast. i was thinking about not going and getting ****ed up or something, but i'll def show up now.
edit: tvs can't be too small as long as they're like 10-12 inches, no johns.

@ Mike - yes, I've used it for 5 tournaments now, including non SSBM. On that aspect of things, the tourney should run smoothly.
