^ Lol kk. Here's how we do it then Run. You get to play against nothing but David's Sheik and even his Fox. I know you can u-throw rest fox, but David's quite campy and not ******** like many other foxes in the city. So in other words, you get to play nothing but 70/30. Nothing else. Ever. So basically you're not going to win almost all of your friendlies and your practice. Tell me how fun that is after one day, then a week, then several months.
Oh but that doesn't sound right? I must play other things you say? Well, no, not really. I'm quite sick of facing only Sheiks. Even if it wasn't grossly difficult, it would be boring and still fun-sucking.

And errr it's cute that Coolhat wants to play his Luigi. But frankly I don't want to like... lose every game I play you know? Because I know that he beat Steve in brackets at David's bi-weeklies. But well a Luigi isn't going to beat like... anyone. I wouldn't find it fun to play nothing but that.

#1) You play Marth and I'll play as like Ness or something. Those are broken match ups too. I guarentee I can call what you're going to do before you do it usually but by virtue of the match up or situation I won't be able to do anything about it.
#2) I'm sure that lots of other people have hideous match ups that they'll never win. And frankly if they find guaranteed losses to be fun, then kudos to them. I can't really say I enjoy that.
#3) There are better people out there, that's lovely. I'd get better facing them, yes. But that wouldn't change the fact that I hate the match up sooo much. Like I beat DL6six, but I hated playing the rounds -.-

^ Offhand I don't know the PR. But it's Ka-Master you're making a reference at I believe? While Ka-Master is an amazing Luigi... I find it depressing that no Marth in that area has heard of space camping, or that no other top tier player is better then him. It speaks to the level of the people around him more then it does himself.

^ Iunno, I know the match up. And tbh it's really David and now apparently Daniel as well who are the Sheiks beating me. But *shrug* that doesn't make it fun. And it doesn't change how difficult it is to learn Sheik vs Marth.
I'm more of a FPS type of guy. Not into the traditional fighters.

lollll, have u heard of taj? well ka-master tore his marth in pools. taj came in 5th at fc btw going all marth. Also, he tore forwards shiek to knock him out, an 8-2 matchup..............

He also knocked out keepspeedN and he beats Silent Wolf consistently.

Why can he do this? Because he didnt quit once he found out wow this character has hard match-ups!

He stuck to his character, and found out ways to work around those insufferable matchups. He came in 9th at FC losing to Darkrain, a person who forward and keepspeedN could have easily knocked out.

He plays luigi, u play marth. Understand?

The fun in this game for me is trying to analyse a character i have trouble with in interesting ways, seeing what i can do to win.

But I guess if you dont share that same sentiment then there's nothing the GTA community can do to stop u from quitting.

Just really reconsider man, that's all. If not, then we'll stop posting about it.

Beyond that, if those guys are losing match ups like that, it speaks to their level of skill at the match up. Send Ka-Master to face M2K and watch teh 4 stock.

Alot of the pros play stupid. Did you see M2K **** Darkrain in crews? Why was that? Because Darkrain was stupid and approached M2K who just stood in 1 spot basically camping him with f-airs. Go figure Darkrain got 3 stocked. Marth wins alot of match ups if he just plays campy and gay like that. Most Marths are stupid and approach when they have absolutely no reason to and it's in their best interests to camp. Like you know, if you get close to a Luigi you might realize it has combos and stuff. But if you just f-air camp it you might realize it can't win... ever.

Looking back at that conversation, I am extremely surprised that I stayed and talked to you that long about something so ridiculous.

Your logic was this:

"I can beat David, I go even with him all the time. I've beaten him several times, therefore I should clearly be at least beside him on the PR."

Then I said, "Volasko beat me in a tournament set. That means he can go even with me and he's beat me on several other accounts before. Therefore, he should clearly be at least beside me on the PR."

Then you tried to refute that you weren't being a hypocrite, which you were, so I decided to just accept that you are extremely stubborn and didn't want to accept that you were wrong for once.

I'm not sure why I tried to keep you in the scene. You're obviously not worth our time if you quit because some sub-par Sheik you play all the time beats you. I say that with 100% dignity. It's offensive to all of us. It's offensive to everyone who plays this game.

Question, if you're quitting, why are you still going to tag along? It's because you're looking for attention, isn't it? Well, whatever, I'm not having any of it. I'm done.

If I may add, I wanna use myself as an example. Mike, have u ever seen me quit because mario/doc has a 7-3/6-4 against the top 8 characters (besides falcon)?? I just keep trying harder every time if someone actually does beat me, or since I have some character variety I use another character. Shiek vs mario is a 7-3 against me, and look how many shieks I've beaten?? It's not like it's impossible or something. Just suck it up man, or quit w/e, but don't just complain about 1 match up u can't handle!!

B) My major point of arguement with you was about Daniel. Fact is since Caketown he hasn't placed higher then 5th. But he's still 3rd on the PR. While IB who does better then him at every tournament, is lower then him for example. Or Ambrose who places the same as him, is mysteriously in 9th. Oh, but friendlies count too? Fine... Anyways, I understand that People at the tourney (in pools anyway) were picking mostly shiek and marth. Once I made it to the brackets, I played against a variety of characters (none were shiek), but I guess u faced different ppl. Still, the fun of the game should be that part where ur trying to overcome hard match ups. For example, when I was trying to find a way to overcome jake's peach. Still I lost 3 straight matches, but still planning and trying to find that way to come close, or even win was the fun part. Easy kills/wins should be fun for u, honestly, when I watch ur play style, all I see is u-tilt and f-smash. That's about it, then I see u play shiek, where u can't spam f-smash to edgeguard, and now u start saying how it's not fun. U have a million ways to combo shiek as well, like come on man. I jon about shiek all of the time, but still try to find ways to overcome him/her. I can honestly say that I can beat bernard's shiek with marth like 50/50, and I know for a fact that he is at least as good (or better from what I've seen) than david.

Oh and you don't think you carry Daniel? I tried explaining this to you earlier by comparison of Daniel and David. Daniel does well with you. When you left, and he had to team with someone else he came in last. David does well in doubles regardless of his team-mate. Bernard also does well in doubles with a variety of team-mates. (I'm glad we're talking about the PR now btw) That would constitute that they're good in doubles, but Daniel is not.

I was just pointing out that players who do as well or better then you at every tournament attended by all of you mutually are lower or considerably lower on the PR for some mysterious reason.
I'm also pointing out your record in doubles and how I view it. And whether or not you agree with that view, well me and Ambrose almost beat you and Jake because we decided to target you for kills. In the first game I had 5 or 6 on you O.o I'm sorry you take offense to that.
