Yeah awestin is good, part of it also is the mu is balls for toonlink. PK fire removes my projectiles and replaces them with his own (aka pk fire) which controls the stage, so I lose a big part of my neutral game

oh also not to mention that down throw followups on toonlink are insanely ********, nearly being a 0 to death because he leads offstage and meteors my stubby up b

Roy mains WISH they could have a real fire SPIKE.

People need to stop with the spike talk. it's a meteor for a reason. The determining factor for whether or not something is a meteor or a spike is the angle. Meteors send more downwards, spikes send more outwards. Spikes can be DI'd more outwards than meteors can. This is the reason falco's dair is hard to combo out of at high percents with good DI, unless you hit the sourspot- because maximum DIk will send them at ~65 degrees away from you. Roy's dair being a meteor is also what makes it easier to follow up when you force a tech chase with dtilt-> dair: since they can't DI as far away, the tech chase ends up much closer to Roy's landing position.
It would be worse as a spike. The spike would only be good in the very rare chance that you actually hit it offstage. It's hard to set-up for offstage hits since Roy is not mobile in the air and is a fast faller with short recovery. As a meteor, it's better for everything else, on-stage, where roy has stage space, great movement speed, and quick jumps with a safe dtilt to lead into it.
Sure, it's disappointing seeing it meteor canceled. But it's for the best. It's not exactly like being dair'd offstagee puts them In a good position.

Awestin is so damn consistent, which to me is the most impressive thing. In my tiny experience in the mu, Ness beats toon link for sure.

This is a bit more understandable, but to be fair Vixen also has a good ZSS that has taken sets off Neon and Burnsy.

It isn't so much that I think Sora is better than M2k. It's more that I've never seen M2k use marth in PM while Sora seems to win almost everything in PM on a weekly basis, except when he's facing KDJ and Wolf.

There are fresh PM videos for people to learn from of Sora playing in TONS of matchups on a weekly basis. This thread was constructed for learning, wasn't it?

And Sethlon. His Marth is like a nice suit, busts it out for special occasions and someone dies horribly when he does so.

the infinity and beyond videos are up but I'm waiting for the KOTH3 videos to also be up. once they're up I'll post all the videos I want on here and I'll request a few old ones to be removed

It's been a while since I've uploaded anything. I did pretty well at King of the House 3 this weekend. I've definitely gotten better, but need to learn uphill matchups a little more (like Toon Link). Unfortunately this was the only set that was recorded of me this weekend. Please add it under my name.

Well the problem is that I've never heard of the players you've played against, except Excel Zero but only in Melee. I'll have to receive a second opinion if you're going to be on the list. Regardless your videos will be going on the list anyway. Good luck!
