I don't get it lol but

1. Mango
2. PP extremely close, but mango is better historically
3. Zhu when he's active
4. Wstballz
5. eh

Not sure about the rest. No disrespect but I can't think of any other national threat Falco players. Not sure how good Unknown's/SW's Falco is and obviously shiz and people like him aren't currently in shape to take a national.

Axe is still the god of the Pocket Falco's.

while pp is obviously in the top 5
you cant take away from the fact that shiz and chops are the pioneers of falco lombardi
all the falcos are amazing and my favorite thing in smash so far was the round robin
shiz had to win just cuz of pride but anyone cudda takin it and especially now adays with a few more top falcos
anyone top falco cud best pp in a tournament setting

Ill just list top players ive beaten. Axe, Javi, Mango, Sfat, PPU, Lovage(when he was good) s2j, hax, SW, Bladewise, Macd, Zhu, Shroomed, i mean the list just goes on and on. I got 4th at NCR when axe didnt even make it to top 8. I am really puzzled how u wouldnt put me at #2 excluding mango. Also why would axe's falco be 3rd? that makes 0 sense. What has axe's falco done? And im talking about recently. Axe hasn't used his falco in the past couple of years yet his is still better somehow? People on smashboards really need to check up on results instead of just watching youtube its getting ridiculous.

Westballz is probably #3 imo. He is probably capable of beating both Mango and PP's falcos head on, but he is still behind both of them as far as consistency goes. Armada and Leffen also have strong Falcos from what I've seen, and Zhu is really underrated. Axe's Falco can do either really amazing or absolutely terrible, and Shiz has fallen off as far as I know.

Y'all forgetting Grandpa Forward.

My Falco is terrible in important matches lol. If I'm even a little bit nervous, my techskill = garbage.

Falco is just my fun character :) I think I only do well with him when I'm relaxed and just having fun (which doesn't happen in big tourney matches, but I keep trying anyways for some reason)

Oh and don't forget about our grandfathers: Forward and Bombsoldier ;)

Westballz is definitely the 3rd best Falco right now. Watch his matches against PP and Mango - that's some real good stuff. Obviously PP is top, then Mango (tho he's playing more Fox now) and after that I'm not sure how anyone can really be justified over Westballz. Look at how stacked his region is and how well he does against top players. If he lived anywhere other than CA he'd be winning tourneys all the time.

I dont understand the whole putting himself above PP either, but Wes has taken games off of mango's falco in the ditto in the past. In fact, he beat mango's falco twice (one of the games were played on FD as well if i'm not mistaken) and then mango switched to fox and proceeded to take the set from Wes. Still mango and pp are better falcos than wes right now.
Based on recent results and past knowledge of certain falcos I'll give this a shot:
1. PP
2. Mango
3. Westballz
4. Zhu
5. Axe (pocket falco but so much swag nonetheless)
6. Baxon
7. Aldwyn
8. Calle W
9. Shiz(I hear he and Juan/Chops are making a comeback for Evo)
10. Lambchops ^^^
11. Blunted Object 10
12. Sion
13. Thorn
14. StricNyn3 (haven't seen him play in a good minute. i think he might be better than Thorn in the ditto, but Thorn has more nationals experience than him)
15. Stab
Honorary Mention: Little England (i remember he beat Kage, havent seen much of him though), Fruitloop, Slox (this kid gonna be taking people's money in like a few months)
Shoutouts to Bomboldier, PC Chris, Forward, DA Dave, and Dope...dem Falco pioneers.

Looking at Wes's post, he excludes Mango from the rankings, so he would be number 2 behind PP

I know he's dying to snipe that #1 position though LOL

I have no problem putting Wes at 2 if we aren't counting Mango (I do think he should be counted however) If he is counted, I would say PP, mango, then Wes. He is amazing at the ditto though, and I wouldn't be surprised if he beat Mango or PP in dittos.

I think it's really difficult to compare Falcos from different eras considering how quickly the metagame changes. Like really, how can you compare bombsoldier to Westballz? They're from different times, had different opponents, Bombsolider had less to work off of and back when bombsolider played it was completely different than it is now. On the other hand while bombsolider pretty much had to create the falco metagame from scratch (more or less), westballz is clearly the better falco as far as overall skill goes. However, that raises the question if someone like bombsoldier was still active today would he be better skillwise than westballz? Of course that's theorycrafting but the comparison is kind of akin to comparing Jerry West to Kobe Bryant. They're both great, legendary players in their own right but because they came from vastly different eras of the game its easy to just conclude that Kobe is the better player but in my opinion that's not entirely fair. You have to take into account when that player was active in my opinion.

lol if only slox main was falco he said he's about the same level as the lower top cal players ......, i put thorn a lil higher since he can take games of of m2k which i doubt blunted and Sion can ..baxon at 6 ..we all know that most of the euroepean players are hype he did beat scar though right ? and calle w and aldwyn haven't seen much as of late....we never see these guys lol , i think shiz and chops are 2 high since there rusty and are gonna be getting bopped for the next couple months before they get it back

I don't know about other people, but I was assuming active Falcos. If we go into best falcos throughout the history of the game, it's pretty much impossible to determine who is better than who.

Aldwyn has taken games/sets from Ice, Amsah, Armada, and Leffen If im not mistaken. He's the best in Italy, besides Dax, and still has the game knowledge and smarts to be top 5 player in Europe. (Kinda miss Neutroni too, another really smart European player who quit like 1.5 yr ago) He hasn't been to a national since B.E.A.S.T 2 i think, but that guy is smart as hell. As for Calle W I'm basing it off of hype a little bit since he was one of the few people that could take games off of armada in Sweden, much less all of Europe. Leffen could be at least top 4/5 on this list with falco as well but he doesn't main falco anymore. He did exceptionally well vs PP in the ditto, and beat Ice with falco at SR last summer, so there's that too. Baxon is also pretty damn good at the ditto, and is most likely a top 10-12 player in Europe right now..so sad that Amsah, Armada, and a few others dont play anymore.

Shiz and Lambchops kinda hold a special place in my smash heart as they alongside some of their matches vs ColBol and Taj (M2) vs. Forward (falco) are some of the first videos I watched back in 2008/2009. I do believe that with their knowledge of the game and access to current falco technology can rise to their former glory, if they so choose. Plus Shiz's falco is so GRIMY, as HMW once said. Gets in on dat ass, and just ****s u up. (no homo)

falco list
1. pp
2. mango
3. wes
4. zhu
5. th0rn
6. Sion (retired?)
7. Bam
8. Stab
9. Top European Falco

After 9, the lists kind of dwindles down to people like Stric9, who have really good Ws (Axe, Eggm, Jman etc.) but have really, really bad Ls (marthmaster999).

Realistically, I think I'm anywhere from 10th to 20th.

strawhats: Last time Aldwyn took a game from me was when he did beat me at Rox4 in the summer of 2007 (he won 2-0 in pools). After that I think we only played 2 tournament sets but he did not take a game (kinda close in some games though if I remember correctly)

After that I don't think he took a game of me. However he has been taking games of both Ice and Amsah. I don't think Leffen and Aldwyn ever played a tournament set vs each other but Im not 100% sure. Aldwyn is a smart player though so it would be fun to see him travel a bit more again

I don't mean to imply that would should not try to compare them across time, I just believe that it is very difficult to do so. And by the time the whole community agrees on who is the number 1 falco, number 2 falco, number 3 falco, and so on, the rankings probably will have changed. I think it is harder to compare in smash than sports because our metagame evolves so quickly. Look how much things have changed from when the game first came out. In sports, players come and dominate for years, or even decades, and the game stays fairly consistent, and the players can usually adapt to small changes. I think the only way to truly tell who was the best at their characters would be if players stayed around and at their peak for longer, but with a game that doesn't pay millions, or even tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars to play (like basketball, baseball, football) it is hard for people to keep putting in massive amounts of effort when they are the best. If Forward still played at the level he played at today, then yes, I think we would compare him and westballz. Sadly, he does not (as far as I know.)
Also, what must be taken into account is how good people are at certain match-ups. I am not saying that we should or shouldn't, just that it takes a lot of time to do so.

Mango is better than pp. 100% guarantee. At least in my eyes. Mango's approaching game is just to flawless. PP is just technically sound with falco so if mango makes a couple mistakes when pp doesn't its a giant game changer especially in the falco ditto where 1 mistake can lead to certain death. Mango on a good day will lose 2 nobody. When i play pp i feel like i actually outplay him but just make 2 many mistakes off stage. As to when i play mango i feel like he is just untouchable.

lmao at putting Dr PP fifth. You serious mate? Also, Axe's falco is definintely swaggy but has it done anything in tournament? It seems like it fails him in tourney (NCR, KoC)

1. Mango (even though both westballz and dr pp have beaten him in falco dittos there's more to being a falco than falco dittos and he's won against them too)
2. Dr PP (he's Dr PP, consistent tournament winner)
3. Westballz (beats extremely good people, places very well, hasn't taken the next step to the top mango and PP have)
4. Zhu (extremely good but not as active, depends on how active he is)

rest idk
