Honestly Im not crazy about nabe's claimed role, but i remember as vig in FF8 i was a real idiot with it to, and played all loose cannon rogue cop in order to draw out scum.

He was inactive w/e, came into thread and saw people talking about killing him. Went into panic mode and cooked up a vig claim because it's easier than talking to people when you're gone. Then proceeded to waste our day by being obtuse and collecting votes, floating it out over an extra day where he could yesterday since deadline was approaching. Then he hits us with: "K guys I'm getting votes on me because people voting me at the end of the day lets me lynch them" as a claim. Boom: Suddenly he's wasted our day and we no longer want to lynch him for sure, deadline approaches: maybe we screw up.

If we decide not to kill him they get a possible ML out of town, and if Clown doesn't use his ability they kill him and now we're down that. If he does: we have to make two very tough to decide lynches without the chance of killing Nabe. They've either forced our hand to waste a key ability that was most certainly balancing town in this game, or be risky right here right now with one scum off the table. He comes in: claims he was roleblocked. We're back where we started on his case and they have more delicious time to leverage their night actions than before.

1. You acknowledge that if Nabe is town scum can easily frame him.
2. Because he is easily framed, Nabe is made to appear to be scum toMorrow.

Like there is a line, and hell i'm not crazy about Nabe's claim, personally i hate vig roles because scum can so easily fake claim them.

There's no reason, if you take it from a scumNabe POV that he wouldn't try to fake this , but he boxes himself in so terribly as scum with it, because now town is going to control who he shoots, if he shoots anyone else or claims roleblocked or w/e, he's going to be lynched the next day, no questions asked.

That's where I'm stuck, scum wants freedom to cause more havoc, and nabeScum puts himself on such a tight line trying to BS something like this.

It's just: would they see that as acceptable losses if we were wrong on Vinyl, and did Nabe really think he was in that bad a spot... which apparently he claims he did. I don't know... I'm always of the opinion that giving scum another chance at living makes it easier to wiggle out, I know I have in the past... I'm not sure if Nabe would see that as something he could do if he rolled scum here, or was overly desperate.
