Roll dodge. This is a stupidly made assumption made upon the fact that how good your glide toss is loosely based on how good your roll dodge is. Wavedashing work under those mechanics in my own little world.

That and YL doesn't trip cause he has a head that keeps him in balance, contrary to TL, whose head makes him angle forward.

I'm pretty sure wavedashing is mostly based on the character's traction and a little based off their AD distance. That's why Luigi's WD goes halfway across FD.

Lol I said AD, WD, and FD. So many D's. :3

But if you mix both, combine both engines and try to base mechanics on principles true to both games, that isn't too applicable, and roll dodge distance becomes more viable, since now Air dodging doesn't move you sideways and character's traction is purely based on dash animations.

You can't combine both game engines simply because Brawl doesn't allow directional ADs which means no WDing. So it's impossible to tell what would determine a character's WD length in Brawl if it's not even possible to perform a WD.

And glide tossing =/= WDing.

btw MLG dropped brawl from 2011 circuit lol

SSBB - will not be back on circuit in 2011; lack of support from Nintendo, hit or miss audience numbers, Mew2King issue didn't help, harder to get sponsors for as a result
