Tingle. Tingle seems like a likely contender for Brawl, despite the dislike for him in America. Sadly, his lesser appearances as of late seem to be on the rise. Waluigi, however, shouldn't even be considered for anything beyond an Assist Trophy. Daisy *shudder* would have a better chance than him, considering she's not entirely a filler character for the sports games.

Waluigi is cool, though, and really needs a part in a mainstream game. Seriously.

I honestly don't understand why Americans hate Tingle so much. I found him hilarious. And for those people who say his game wasn't world-wide, it was released everywhere bar America, because you guys don't like him. Seriously, I have friends that are gay but I mean tingle is just overreaching it. The character is sissified to the extreme and I just don't see that character in a fighting game, maybe in a mario party type game but not Brawl.

Homoerotic? You can make all the gay jokes about Tingle you want, but I don't know a single gay person who would find Tingle sexually attractive (nor many straight people, for that matter).

For me, this is the bottom line: I dislike Waluigi and I can tolerate Tingle. And I truly think Tingle has a better chance since he actually has a game or two of his own under his belt AND he's actually a part of the canon of his series. Waluigi hasn't appeared in a single "real" Mario or Wario game as far as I know.

Thank you for saying that my friend. Tingle has two games under his belt..and apparently he is more popular then most of you think...why would he keep returning to every Zelda game from Majora's Mask(Twilight had a spin-off for him)and have two games of his own? Very un-popular indeed.[SARCASM]

Tingle over Waluigi for me. I have a horrible feeling that Waluigi will somehow appear in this game, when I couldn't possibly come up with a moveset for him. What has he done besides appear in party/Mario sports games? Tingle at least has some moves to work with, his balloon, obsession with Rupees, bombs, Tingle Tingle Kaloo-Limpah!. I think Tingle would be a hilarious addition to the roster.

..Exactly. Tingle easily can have a moveset, but I have made one in the past for Waluigi as well. Any character can, just Tingles is more tolerable because they're from his game appearnances.
The fans would love him and the haters would hate him...BUT, what if Tingle became high-tier for Brawl? I GUARANTEE a lot of peoples minds would change in an instant about him.

Then again Tingle may not be that bad as a character for you to put on lvl 1 and beat the crap out of and laugh at.

How many times has this come up? For the last time, PLAYABLE CHARACTERS HAVE TROPHIES AS WELL! And, at least Tingle is technically in the game.

Mario series still has Daisy (Super Mario Land), Wart, and the Koopalings (all 7 of them).

Well, yeah, I'll give you Daisy. I didn't include her only because she primarily only appears in spin-offs.

Wart, however, has only been in one game and was seemingly forgotten about afterwards. He's not all that likely.

The Koopalings also have this problem. (seems like they've all been replaced by Bowser Jr., whom I resent for) The other thing about the Koopalings is if one did get in, which one would they choose? None of them really stand out or are more important than any of the others. And no, I don't think there appearances in Mario&Luigi count for too much since there roles weren't all that important and because that game was pretty much fanservice to hard-core Mario fans anyway.

Wart was pretty awesome, and it would be funny to nail him with Peach's vegetables. My favorite Mario 2 character was actually that evil mask, think it was called Phanto, and it would chase you every time you picked up a key. Then you had to run your *** off while it was joyously angry... that would make a funny bonus item, one of those keys.

To Creo: I wasn't suggesting the character is gay, truthfully I'm not a big Legend of Zelda fan anyway so my opinion of Tingle is even less. I just would prefer the nasty wildness of a Wario brother over a seemingly weak and irritating character (again I am just saying how he looks to me). I must admit though that the big picture you posted of him on Hulk juice is much more impressive. Looks like the Jolly Green Giant! I also agree with the statement that you'd rather have Tingle than be missing a character. I'm just hoping they can find better entries than either of these two.

Waluigi also has nothing that uniquely defines him - Tingle has his various obsessions, mapmaking skills, balloon and bombs. What does Waluigi have? Nothing really, except for a mishmash of skills from the various sports/party games.

..Personally, I wouldn't mind either of them! Like I stated in my first post, I am along with both of them, but, Tingle is my most wanted Playable Character for Brawl. We know for a fact he is in Brawl as a trophie, but is it an Assist, a Regular, or a Playable Character Trophie?
