Mmm I can't say much about movies because I don't really watch them, but games that have made me cry? Xenoblade Chronicles. Oh god, I've never cried more from a game, especially with parts regarding a certain character. Sad tears, shocked tears, and happy tears; this game gave me them all. No other game has made me cry, but Awakening has come very close.

I'll tell you one of the saddest moments in gaming for me?

The end of Skyward Sword

Oh, so many tears of saddness.

It's been years since I played it, but the ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team made me tear up pretty badly. Those who've played it know what I'm talking about.

And then there's Twilight Princess.

For some reason, I didn't have as much as an emotional reaction to the end of TP as SS. I mean, I was still annoying in a sad way when
Midna broke the Mirror. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!
But SS
WHY FI?! WHY YOU HAVE TO SLEEP FOR EVER?!! and the music doesn't help ;-;

Oh gosh, Monsters. Inc makes me cry everytime I watch it. Thus leading me to ask the question, what is your favourite Disney Pixar film if you've watched any? The Incredibles and Monsters. Inc are definitely up there with my all time favourites. :happysheep:
Toy Story trilogy, Up and Ratatouille. Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and the Incredibles are also fun. Haven't seen Brave, Cars 2 or Monster's University, and I think it'll stay that way.

Monster's University is okay, Mike has a larger role than Sulley and the Oozma Kappa guys really pick up the remaining 2/3 of the film. It's main problem was its poor pacing and writing.

Skip Brave and forget that Cars 2 was even made by Pixar. Do what I do and blame it on Disney Toon.

Planes is the worst Disney animated movie to exist.

I don't even consider the bad Animated Canon sequels to be as bad as Planes.

I've seen every Pixar movie, and just about every Disney movie in general. I'm a huge movie goer and Up is one of the greatest movies ever made, period. It is just that good.

We must develop the CAH metagame on Smashboards.

And I've seen a lot of Pixar movies in my time. Some of my favorites include Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and A Bug's Life. Also Up.

My favorite childhood Disney movies are the Lion King, Bambi, and Dumbo (Because adorable animals + disposable parenthood = profit I guess?) Mulan is right alongside them though, and Big Hero 6 gets an honorary "not-childhood" mention.

Now for Pixar my favs would be (in no real order) The Incredibles, Up, and Wall-E.
Why has no one else mentioned Age of Ultiron? It's a disney movie.
Well in my case I haven't seen it yet. But I think the main reason is because it's not a part of the main Disney animated canon.

Favorite Pixar Movie? Definitely Incredibles, though Finding Nemo and the first Toy Story comes close. Asides from Toy Story 3, I haven't been up to date with Pixar's recent movies. :dizzy: For Disney's animated movies, it'd be Treasure Planet, with Mulan and Tarzan close runner-ups.

Game moments that make me cry? Ending of Persona 3 and Pokémon BW

@ ThunderSageNun ThunderSageNun : You have made a fantastic avatar selection. I think I may run my Yamato avatar again for a bit. In the midst of playing through Record Breaker (I played through the original for every ending). <3 Fumi.

On topic of movies that made me cry: I cry at movies extremely easily. I'm a real ****ing softie. The one that gets me straight bawling LITERALLY EVERY TIME, though, is Click (Adam Sandler). ****ing FAMILY FEELS, MAN.

Game crying feels? The ending of Walking Dead Season 1. Like a baby.

More movie related stuff: Everybody should go see Mad Max: Fury Road. AMAZING movie. 2 hours of straight-up action porn, with intensely deep world-building providing a fantastic support framework to the movie.

Looks like people are talking Disney Pixar... now there's a discussion I can get in on.

Toy Story trilogy, Up and Ratatouille. Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and the Incredibles are also fun. Haven't seen Brave, Cars 2 or Monster's University, and I think it'll stay that way.

@The Dorf Patrol
Cars 2 was awesome. At least in my opinion. Monsters University is ok. Also just in my opinion. I'm pretty sure it's the reverse for everybody else though. :p

Brave was disappointing.
don't kill me

Planes is the worst Disney animated movie to exist.

I don't even consider the bad Animated Canon sequels to be as bad as Planes.
Agreed.

I actually liked some of the old Disney sequels though. So I guess you could say I'm biased. :p

My favorite childhood Disney movies are the Lion King, Bambi, and Dumbo (Because adorable animals + disposable parenthood = profit I guess?) Mulan is right alongside them though, and Big Hero 6 gets an honorary "not-childhood" mention.

With you all the way. Just add Hercules.
And subtract Dumbo. I can't stand elephants.

I think the only game that made me tear up was the end of all three Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games.

Oh, and some other game I never talk about. Mom the Third or something.:4lucas:
"You must be tired." Thank you, and good night.

The Lucina and Robin scene in Chapter 21 of Awakening and a certain scene near the end of Xenoblade
when Melia's brother dies and Riki says he saw him
got me close, though. Oh, and at the end of EarthBound
all the prayer stuff. All of it.

Game moments that make me cry? Ending of Persona 3
This^
P3 was a wonderful game.

Some of the few games that made me cry were Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Persona 3. Honorable mentions go to Tales of the Abyss for not quite making me cry, but still having some sad elements to it.

Square Enix made me cry for teasing me with that TWEWY countdown...

As for movies... I can't remember, actually. That beginning of Up got me close, though.

I haven't seen Up. Or Frozen. Or Wall-E. Or any Batman movie. Or the Avengers. Or damn near any movie released after 2006.

Don't bother with the torches and pitchforks, I've got Fire Drain & Phys Repel set as passive skills.

Nothing wrong with that. I don't see movies too often anymore honestly. It's easier for me to be invested in games.

No doubt my favorite thing out of Devil Survivor 2, fittingly, my favorite character from the first game is Naoya. Long live computer geniuses.

Usually, the only movies that really hit me are movies were they focus on something like a family dog and it dies at the end, I'm a softie for pets and stuff.
Last game I recall getting me teary was Persona 4 Arena due to Labrys story, surprisingly as I really didn't think I'd care for her and she turned out to be one of my favorite characters as a whole.

The following games aren't necessarily tearjerkers but they were so emotional that by the time I finished playing them I got messed up for DAYS.

Two things for that

1) If you plan to watch the Avengers, watch all the Marvel Movies. Or at least The Origin story, Thor Dark World and Captain America Winter Solider other wise you are going to miss a lot of the story.

2) Never, ever, ever, EVER watch Frozen. It deserves to be killed by fire!

Two things about that.

1.) You missed a perfectly good opportunity to say "melted by fire."

2.) I disagree and think that Frozen is one of the best movies Disney has produced in recent years.

I HEARD ELEPHANTS.

They are legit my favorite animals.:231:

I have a very vague memory of Dumbo, though. You'd think it'd stick with me.

I liked Frozen. I thought it was pretty good. Overhyped as heck? Yes, but I still enjoyed it. It does NOT need a sequel, though.

While I agree with your points, is the second point really saying that much (not including pixar)?
