Severa's probably my least favorite of the children, but I wouldn't say I hate her. I don't consider her a bad character- I'm just not into the tsunderes so much. I do chuckle sometimes in battle at her lines while paired up, though. Poor Yarne in my first run...

For reference- favorite second gen is Morgan. Not counting him (and her), it'd be Owain for the guys and Cynthia for the girls. All hail the Justice Cabal!

Once I start playing a game I start judging it right from the beginning of when I started playing and that judgment will keep on evolving as I play it. So no, I won't save my judgment for later.

This. I love coming here, but I want to go into If as unspoiled as possible. Up until now, it's been pretty easy avoiding Xenoblade spoilers here, but I guess with new people already playing it, it's bound to be harder. At least I only have to wait two days for that. For If, I have to wait at least half a year after the Japanese release.

I remember shortly before XBC came out for New 3DS I was even considering dropping the thread temporarily because I knew some people here had planned on playing it, but I decided to give the benefit of the doubt.

Spoilers don't HAVE to be plot-related. The plot is only one faction of a game. For instance:

Not technically a story spoiler, but it might ruin a nice surprise for people going in without knowing much about EB.

And you're entitled to post your thoughts, positive or negative. Just be respectful when it comes to spoilers and put them behind a spoiler tag when necessary.

She even outright states to Libra in their S-support that she still considers Robin to be more important. I cannot ever ship her with Libra just for that reason.

About Avatars pairings I pair my male Avatar with Tiki because I love dragons and Tiki is just cute in her own way. Plus it gives her a daughter. I pair my FeMU with Chrom because Morgan gets a sibling and I find Chrom and FeMU the most fitting of all wives because they have such a strong connection which becomes even more apparent with their marriage.

Congratulations, Zan! Cordelia is a pretty stellar woman to be married to, even if her obsession for Chrom is a bit much.........and her daughter can be a bit of a brat..........even so, she is incredibly attractive and quite radiant indeed.

You should judge a game from the minute you start it...but don't make bold statements such as it being overrated when you've only played 5% of it. Completely ignoring 95% of the game is not exactly a proper way to determine your feelings about it...

I run the FE wiki, and I'm in Europe (where, because we have so many languages (but I can only speak so many of them), it's highly likely the game won't release for a month or two after even the US release), so I've already abandoned all hope of avoiding any spoilers for FE14.

I rather like Cordelia a lot, but yeah, her undying love for Chrom gets annoying sometimes. They should've changed her barrack dialogues/some supports after she married someone.
Severa, though, is the main reason I don't marry Cordelia to Robin. I don't like her at all.

I'll have to admit, though, Cordelia's dialogue in the Summer dlc thingy is probably the best one there, imo.

As do I. I love her character design and her personality, Chrom obsession aside of course. I too wish her dialogue and supports could have changed once you got married but it is what it is unfortunately. Probably one of the reasons I didn't marry her in my second play through. During my first play through of the game, Coredelia stood out to me and I was attracted by not only her beauty but her duty and strength that she exuded. Out of all the 1st generation characters, she stood out the most to me for some reason. It's just too bad she's got Chrom on the brain all the time and a brat for a daughter.

And yes, the Summer DLC had some fantastic dialogue, Coredelia being among those that stood out.

I haven't even spoiled anything on Xenoblade. Good ****ing god. I've been leaving details vague and have mainly only been talking about how I feel of the game so far. There is nothing spoilery about what I have typed about the game so far.

I honestly couldn't agree more. Xenoblade Chronicles is one of my favourite games of all time, therefore, I want those who have yet to experience the game or are currently playing it for the first time to be just as surprised and excited as I was. The enjoyment that comes from Xenoblade, heck any game for that matter, is discovering new things, being shocked by a story revelation or some grand new area that you've yet to explore. If any of that is spoiled, even a little bit, it can damper someone's overall experience of the game and turn them off from certain threads, like this one. Which is why I ask those who are currently playing the game or have completed Xenoblade to please be respectful and post content that could be considered a spoiler behind a spoiler tag.
