This would be a good thing for me, because good grief this thread can take for ****ing ever to load at times and mess with other tabs trying to load as well sometimes.
Yeah.
I really don't want to bring any convoluted policies or anything here. That just becomes confusing and vague. That said, it is still possible to perhaps reconsider posting standards as a community. That is, not anything to do with rules or enforcement, but asking one self if it's really worth it to have that video or that oversized gif. To pull up one of my own posts:
Now, when I uploaded this off the web, initially it looked about a half of the size. I felt outright awful and had I known it were resized on that page, I would have resized it myself before uploading. The gif helps to convey an idea, humorously, better than words, though it can still get the point across in a smaller size and not amount to 5 MB in size. That all adds up for mobile users. At the very least, I could have had the courtesy to spoiler it.
Anyway, new policies are probably unnecessary here since people here like each other enough that if you tell them not to do something, they'll stop. Don't want to make the Robin social any less fun, discourage discussion or reduce the amount of content, so much as both make it easier on mobile users as well as make it easier for others to keep up with the immense amount of posts.
I thought it was obvious "everyone" meant everyone but you. :/
Of course.
