Wait, what? page 666 is already gone?
:sadsheep:
It was too fast.
God. Damnit. I got in costume and everything.

Well ****.

Where was I.

Same.
>Playing Zelda on 3DS FG
> Accidentally side b's instead of up b
> Dies
>smh Sakurai why
I play Mac on 3DS FG.

Suffice to say I feel your pain.

I just read that the wave 4 amiibos were delayed as a combonation of the West Coast port strike... and Nintendo wanting to make sure that there's enough stock.
Oh geez please please please.

Are we having bets too?
Odds 4:1 on NSG. Place your bets.

BEND THY KNEE FOR LORD GRIMA!!!!!
Aight lemme bend it.

Look how bent that knee is. **** that is one bent knee.

Your god is pathetic if one of the army's female soldiers is making a peace offer and he's considering it.
Hey. Look. Be fair, here. You have no idea how many souls went into that lunch.

Girl works hard. Give her props.
Why yes, I am female. :4robinf:

And y-yes, I really am feeling it. :4shulk:
I'm getting deja vu. And a distinct urge to crop something, though I'll resist.

Greets by the way.

Is this question answered?
Usually when this happens its because you mere mashing the jump button without knowing
Thank you, I had a hunch it was registering that.

Now I just need to stop that ****.

Favorite non lord Fe Playable character go!
I'm so bad at picking favorites. I don't think I have a One True Favorite or anything, honestly, but I have several I like.

I'll go with Matthew, Canas, Heath and Legault from FE7; Bastian, Volke, Tauroneo, Lethe, and Heather from Tellius; and Henry, Gregor, Nah, Gaius, Donnel, and Basilio from Awakening.

Like this post if you love @ Raziek Raziek and just want him to be happy.

That had to be planned.
Still liked it.

Frederick? Pffffft

Someone edit @ Weeman Weeman 's avatar so the Hawlucha is holding amiibos instead of Tacos
Tempted but too busy.

And away I go.

So, was this posted already? I can't remember.

Also:

May or may not be on a Shulk kick right now. I'm not sure if I like him more or less than Robin. Ness is still my boy, though.

Hi just wondering which paralogue you find harder? Priam's? or Aversas'? I heard somepeople claiming the Wellspring ot Truth to be really hard but with Dual Guard I find the mirror match favoring me while in Priam's you get overwhelmed by tons of units?

The other paralogues well I don't find them that hard

Aversa's by a mile. My units tend to be OP enough that a mirror match is terrifying enough, but it's basically an escort mission for Aversa, too.

All the remaining paralogues are easy peasy.

Someone is asking for a Falcon Punch. :smirk:

He's just thirsty.

Don't hate on the man cause he's thirsty.

Both are simple enough.

Aversa's chapter is simple if you use the bare-minimum amount of units and don't give the enemy anything too easy to work with. Archers, Dark Mages, and fragile units in general. Let the AI copy units they don't know how to use, but don't let your fragile units engage their counterparts: The AI will take disadvantageous engagements if that's the only thing they can do. The only thing you need to worry about is making sure Aversa reaches herself.

Priam's chapter has more at threat of the two. One of the simple rules of engagement are at play here: Engage the enemy afar, you can retreat to engage the enemy multiple times. Engage the enemy at home, you have nowhere to retreat, and your home will fall to ruin. Those that approach an opponent in wait are always at a disadvantage. In Fire Emblem terms, it means you'll probably need to have your units standing in range of only so many units at a time. Take on three, back up, take up three more, etc.

You'll have three to four possible areas of contention where the enemy approaches, depending on how you position your units, The central ruins are the most important feature of this map, and the tactician who holds it is at a great advantage. Ideally, your best tank (say, a Nosferatu tanker) can hold those ruins for as long as possible; more than anything, you just don't want to lose this ground, allowing you to govern the pace of the chapter.

The left flank should be contested with highly mobile units, like fliers. Should they be at a losing battle, you'll have a good turn or two to retreat and return if need be; the AI will probably go after who ever is in the ruins if you move out of range. As for the right side, the biggest complication here is without a doubt Counter. The enemy will approach in either one or two clusters depending on how you position your units. I think it is strategically superior if you have the majority of your highest ranged damage dealers functioning in the eastern side of the map, so you can destroy multiple enemies without having to afford ground.

I know you didn't ask for a strategic breakdown, though I genuinely felt neither was much challenge on Lunatic.

May I add a few bits to the Aversa section?

Depending on what you've whipped up over the course of the game you may be in for a bit of a shock in Aversa's chapter. If you can't go Hong's route and give the AI units they have difficulties with, remember four simple things and you'll be fine.

First, bring a mix of units that can strike at each other's weaknesses - nice mix of weapons, ranged/melee, tank/tomewielder, things like that. To paraphrase the Sniper, have a plan to kill everyone you meet. Second, remove any particularly damning skills (Lethality, Vantage, Counter, Aegis, Pavise, Sol, Luna, Aether - remember, they'll have it too, and you don't want none of that). Third, though they get forge bonuses on higher difficulties, they're still limited to Silver weapons and B-rank tomes - you're not. And fourth, pair up is your friend.

I double checked and want to point out that Aversa doesn't actually have to speak with or fight herself, she just needs to survive the chapter to be recruited (though she does have a quote ready for her doppleganger if they do fight). Some schmuck staff-user-only class with a Rescue can serve double duty as a way to keep Aversa away from whatever uber units you've made, and also as a squishy meatbag mirage (one less to worry about, at least).

...actually, that last point makes me wonder what the bare minimum number of fighters would be to keep things blocked off. If you could get a squishy healer to repeat itself in the mirages - they loop through your team again if you don't bring enough - that'd be even more easy shots. Probably not as viable a strategy, but an interesting thought.

Priam's map never gave me any trouble, but I didn't take a crack at it on Lunatic. Hong's judgement would be far better there.

Unfortunately it didn't work.

I hoped I could recruit Aversa in my Frederick Emblem run by blocking her in and tanking the exorbitant amount of Frederick, but not so much. There's no efficient chokepoints where I could do so, and the clones are all outfitted with ranged weapons regardless.

Not to mention I still die in two turns on that map.

Sigh. No sultry dark mage for me this run.
Pretty good impetus to start another actually.

If you're willing to grind, you could second seal Chrom down to lord or archer, and on the first turn promote to bow knight/greatlord. Deal with Frederick and a small army of Chroms.

Falcon love, eh?

I think Ganondorf is quite handsome.

I love older gentlemen, and he's got a body that would make Falcon bend knee and swear eternal fealty.
