I always found it funny that Chrom would marry a woman he just barely met in Olivia's case. And then Lissa calls him out on the marriage followed by baby Lucina.
For added hilarity, marry Lissa to Virion, Donnel, Lon'qu, Gaius, Gregor, Libra, or M!Robin, and then pair Chrom with Olivia.
You now have Lissa calling Chrom out for getting married to someone he's known for less than two years... when she married someone she'd known for a few months.
Well, in Lissa's defense, we don't exactly know how much time actually passes between the moment they find Robin and when they get into the first war.
Marching between places could take days, weeks, months or even years. All that they ever give us so we can have some track of time is that 2 years passed in the time skip.
Chrom marrying Olivia is called out because when she joins you is...The exactly same chapter Chrom marries her. Welp.

But honestly whose bright idea was it to make Olivia a marriageable candidate for Chrom and than put her in the same chapter where he is forced to marry someone which leads to no build up. I really love that pairing next to Robin and Chrom but the Devs really made it difficult for us.
Of course, they very likely build a relationship offscreen but still..
I remember leaving Olivia dancing with Chrom in the corner of the map for almost 20 turns; I wasn't sure if Chrom had built up support points with his other potential partners, so I wanted to be sure... XD It's really disappointing that you can't have Chrom/Olivia's marriage blossom from their adorable support conversations, though. :[
On a side note, I might have to cancel my pre-order for Codename S.T.E.A.M, at least for now. Lots of stuff coming up these next couple of weeks, and I want my order of the Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn soundtracks ensured. Can't believe it's out this Wednesday!

While I was browsing looking for Robin memes I have found something you will love to hate or hate to love.
An abomination touched with the things you love.
Behold!
(Image deleted at reactions of posters have this fan art I found as a replacement. Found on know your meme but original artist unknown.)

I have little to add to the stuff save a point for @Pikachewy99: Double villager combo brah. Do eet. Valmese preferred, we don't see much awesome out of that camp save Walhart and it'd be nice to see em represent.
Meanwhile, Frederick Emblem: Awakening continues. The rules have been refined and will be relisted.
Frederick Emblem: Awakening Challenge
1. Hard mode required, Classic recommended.
2. No units may be voluntarily fielded but Frederick.
3. No units may gain experience on the battlefield other than Chrom or Frederick.
4. No units may die.
5. All units that can be recruited during combat must be.
6. Breach of these rules is considered map failure and will require a soft reset.
7. All units not under your direct control (such as Allied units) are exempt from all other rules.
The notable loopholes thus far:
- Units gained during a map can still be paired up with Chrom or Frederick for the duration, largely for their own protection.
- Because the paired unit may gain experience, Dual Strikes by anyone other than Chrom or Frederick can breach rule 3. However, Dual Guards do not breach the rule and are thus acceptible.
We are up to a whopping Chapter 7. The playthrough looks like it may be successful, if it is played as a test of endurance above all. Luckily the two have almost all the defensive skills I could want, other than Frederick not having access to Sol, so I may be able to tank hard enough to get the job done.
Also, this seems obvious, but just to restate: it turns out when you have all the Res of a moist towelette, mages are some *********** ****brained ****ing mother****ers and they can all drop off to a ****ing man.
For reals, the feels. Need some Aegis in my life ASAP.
It's no use, @BindingShield
. We've seen it all. We have seen things we will never unsee. It has brought us closer together.
You know, there's something kind of intimate about experiencing trauma together. For that moment, you can't help but cling onto the person nearest to you. Some trace of sanity. Whatever you can get. You can't suffer alone.

I am offended you think I would make such a thing. I merely Google Robin smash bros and scrolled down. I found it and thought it a novelty. But... okay I'll stop.... sorry!

Oh Hong~.
Seeing you write the words "It's no use, @BindingShield

Are you taking the words out of my mouth or simply my breath away?
Sweet, good to hear a date on when the Marth amiibos are getting restocked. Marth and I go way back so when I (hopefully) get mine, shall I go for the more regal sounding name "Hero-King" or the more affectionate "Mar-Mar." Thoughts?

...come on! I just found it online and though it was funny.
I don't appreciate all these cruel accusations! You wound me with those words Serf of the chapters! I haven't even played sonic in my life! Hell, I'm terrible at platformers and hate them as much as I'm terrible with them.
But yes, I'll delete it. Sorry for causing such undue distress.

My usage of him is a little different than most, but I'll tell you what I can.
I'd recommend letting him learn Dual Guard+, then classing to Paladin for Aegis. He'd do well to learn Pavise too (reclass to General), but he really needs Aegis to keep him safe from tomesters and archers (yes, archers, we'll get to that). Pavise is optional because weapons tend to break on him anyway.
Frederick also works astonishingly well as a Wyvern Lord. He gets slow, but tanks hard and hits harder. That's my planned endgame for him, after getting his defenses shored up with skills. Archers would be a concern, but by this time Aegis should be a thing, making it less of a concern. Plus there's the headcanon thought of raining fire down on your enemies, which just seems like a very Frederick thing to do.
Defender and Luna are also nice to have, and if you follow this progression you should end up with them as well. Swordbreaker is useful as a Wyvern Lord if you know they'll field Wyrmslayers, but optimally he should be paired up with someone who can switch into that more effectively.
Never reclass him to an unpromoted unit, they have nothing he wants.
