If custom moves become standard I honestly might just stay 1111 for Robin, none of her customs are too enticing for me
But customs like Speed thunder and Fire Wall can help a lot in difficult MU and how you couldn't be tempted with the killing power of Thoron+.

Also the starter stage list really benefits Robin so finally a good change for us.

About the FE:A, I'm currently in my 2nd playthrough in Hard/Classic and I struggle a little but nothing impossible. I was reconsidering restarting the run in Lunatic with Fem Robin (I like her a lot more compared to Male Robin but still cool). Maybe I want to fight against my luck and mental sanity but I want to try Frederick Emblem. and all the grind for the skills can be worth...

It's impressive that Robin of either gender came out so beautiful considering who their father is.
They didn't turn out ugly... Or even purple. :ohwell:

You know I keep thinking about the new Fire Emblem's trailer and due to the usual-unusual hair colors in Fire Emblem and the obvious Eastern influence in the game, I can't help but think of this guy.
DLC confirmed.

I really wish that Marth and Lucina didn't, like, suck.
Honestly contemplating dropping Lucina for Lucario and making Roboin my secondary in his place.
Thoughts?
I'm actually in the camp who thinks Marth is actually a good character with a lot of potential (Lucina not so much imo). This by the way is not taking into account of custom moves. With custom moves like Dolphin Jump, Iai Counter, Dashing Assault, and Crescent Slash (currently my favorite move in the entire game), Marth becomes a different character who may even be able to compete toe to toe with the current top tiers. The Marth thread is discussing customs as we speak.

TL;DR:Give Marth a chance.

Well, I just beat Lunatic for a second time. I can finally start my female only run.

Sumia got the gold medal.
Cordelia got the silver medal.
Olivia got the bronze medal.

I'm considering using speed thunder for MUs like Sheik and possibly Falcon. Don't know about Fire Wall though.

They must have gotten a lot of things from their mother if you really look at their character. Daddy was a big bad evil dude who wanted to ruin the world.

Their child just wants to support with everyone and make an army of super children.
Well, considering Robin is the result of generations worth of genetic engineering it doesn't surprise me that much that they would take it up as a hobby, too.

Is it just me, or are fast, rushdown characters without projectile or reflect options tomebait for Robin?

Cap and Mac in particular seem to be pretty solid matchups for her.

Characters in general who rely on trying to get into their opponents' faces are just begging to hit with Robin's thunder tome.

I can recount how many times I've been able to rack up high damage just through spamming Elthunder to an opponent rushing towards me.

I'm excited to try out Speed Thunder now, I'll have to ask people on Smashladder if they would be okay with me using it.

This is the power of a tactician.

Go to Share and search replays with the following query:
Creator: Anyone
Region: Portugal
Mode: Multi-Man Smash
Character: Robin

Find my replay and enjoy the show. Note: done on the 3DS version.

Okay, let me make my point more clear: He isn't anything like Brawl and Melee Marth. This enrages me. Even if he was one of the best characters in the game, he still feels awful to play.

For Robin customs I feel like they are very dependent on the matchup, I would rather use fire wall than arc fire against aggressive fast characters and same with speed thunder. Does anyone use Thunder+? I personally like the default thunder over thunder+ because thunder already takes longer to charge than any other neutral B move.

I think all the Nosferatu picks are going to be dependant on style and Tactician's preference. As a Melee Bowser, I love Goetia, for instance.

After you play enough competitive Melee, you have times where you are comboing Fox from 0-80% and, just as you go to get the killing blow, you get shined. Everyone in the room starts laughing, and you go to double jump to recover, and you get shined again. Now everyone is hysterical. You go to use your Up + B, but it's too late. You are already long gone. Then you realize you have no stocks left and the game is over, even though you remember being at a 4-1 lead. Everyone is pointing and laughing at you, then you look down and realize you forgot to wear pants for today and then you look at the time and you are late for your high school final exam.

Then you wake up in a cold sweat.

You look at the clock and it's only 00:24.

:cheep:
When you get older, you are more likely than not to have at least one dream where you suddenly find yourself in high school again. While dreams are random, this is a notable occurence across a broad spectrum of society, and have very consistent themes. Generally the dreams revolve around unavoidable failure, embarrassment, or odd relationships with people you had otherwise forgotten existed. In this dream, the generation of the environment is so uncanny that the subject thinks they are genuinely in high school again, sometimes even after they have woken up. It is not rare for this dream to persist even into your later years, where people who have already long retired will find themselves in high school again.

Another very oddly specific kind of dream is where the subject mysteriously loses their pants. or forgot to put them on. It is common for this to be noticed after the subject has made some kind of silly mistake. This kind of dream happens even in subjects that have not emitted brain waves to suggest lust, or subjects who would not feel embarrassed about being nude in the waking world.

The only way I could top off my made-up dream is to have it so the bus you needed to take never shows up, or you accidentally take the wrong bus and end up in a place you've never ever seen before. Another common dream is the consistent failure to get where you need to be, and usually involves false or impossible scheduling.

:054: This sure is one heck of an answer to "wat is dis, your nightmare?".
But I have to agree that I do have these kinds of high school dreams sometimes, and they always involve Physics or Math finals, and most likely than not, me anxiously running after the teacher to see if I'm going to "repeat the year" or not. Nevertheless to say, I don't like them.
There was indeed a day when I woke up thinking that I was late for school bus, got up in a hurry, went to the bathroom and remembered I wasn't in high school anymore, and my college schedule was completely different. I got back to bed afterwards, ofc.

As a more off topic stuff, I just started wondering how would a child between Yarne and Nah turn out.

Why do you prefer Melee and 64 to Smash 4 again?

Another common theme in dreams (and one of the only typical ones I have experienced myself) is falling and waking up just before (or preventing) the impact.

I've had the falling one before where you fall and wake up just before hitting the ground, half the time I actually hit the surface and it feels really weird. I've been getting them a lot less now though. I specifically remember one dream a long time ago where I jumped off an escalator and dropped a long distance and experienced a weird feeling when I hit the ground. It's been too long to remember accurately though.

Maybe it's because I'm in my last year, but I've never dreamt of this.

If there's been a recurring theme in my dreams, or at least, the ones I remember, it's Smash in some way.

At least that's when I'm not lucid dreaming.

If I'm having a bad dream, I show up at a tourney with my pants on.

Why do you prefer Melee and 64 to Smash 4 again?
Fox may be supreme, but fun to play and play against.

If one is falling towards the ground, they should press :GCRT: just before they hit the ground to prevent damage.

Cognitive gears for puzzles....

I had a dream once that I met @ LIQUID12A LIQUID12A , and started a trip around the world. However, he couldn't stand me and left with his girlfriend to go back to Mexico, leaving me alone in some remote Italian village.

I couldn't make this up if I tried.

Um, I like Young Link, but seeing as how Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda, Toon Link has always been my favorite Link too.

Funny that I was playing a Captain Falcon player and that's what happened. The majority of his big opportunities to get in and build damaged were ruined by a flying book...I totally planned for that to happen.

Oh, you didn't mention THAT. :joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:

Though I honestly don't see why I wouldn't stand you. I mean, sure, this IS your mind talking, but...:urg:

I likely won't have a girlfriend in a very long time, anyway, that small detail baffles me to no end but again that's your mind making up stuff.
