As someone who's first outing into the franchise is Awakening, Normal/Casual was REALLY easy. If you don't mind that, then you're good, but if not, Normal/Classic or Hard/Casual might be a better place to start.

I prefer sticking to Casual no matter what, though. I don't like losing units permanently, and on FE7 I restart the chapter every time someone dies anyway.

Well, things until Hard are pretty easy. Lunatic/Lunatic+ were made to be based off mostly luck. I'm not the luckiest person around.

Also, there's a difference between 'difficulty' and 'mode'.
For difficulty you can choose between these
-Normal
-Hard
-Lunatic
-Lunatic+ *Only opens up after you beat Lunatic.

And for modes you these to choose:

-Casual: No perm death, basically.
-Classic: Perm death for units that aren't relevant to the story. The ones that are (and wives) won't be playable anymore if defeated, but will continue alive. Ofc, if either Robin or Chrom dies, it's Game Over.

Honeslty, Normal/Classic and Hard/Classic aren't that difficult at all, and Casual has no sense of danger, so I just prefer to go Classic.

One would think that, being a WIND-based spell, Elwind would send the target in whatever direction it's traveling in. I actually don't mind Robin's slow speed too much, though it does kinda hamper his approaches.


I'm not sure if I would say Hard Knuckle is an awkward meteor, but I get what you're saying. Luigi is another one of those characters with an awkward meteor, with the target needing to be within Luigi's entire frame when using his Dair or else no meteor.

That makes a lot of sense, actually.

Oh gods, I completely forgot about Luigi. Gods, that meteor hitbox SUCKS!

Normal and Hard are almost the same thing, imo.
Some more enemies and grinding made a bit wee hard, but that's it.
Also, if you wan to play the game for the sake of storyline and supports, and not for difficulty, trying to prove yourself something, that's completely alright.
So, no, it's not bad.

I actually prefer Toon Link over Link in SSB4. I dunno why, but I think he feels more powerful oO

That's the obvious, no? Otherwise, there shouldn't be a support. It's cliche, but that's what I had in mind, anyway, and considering the chracter's personalities, it's what fits it better. (dunno about Unknown Hero) Problems with it?
We want to show more background story on the characters, and I think this kind of cliche bromance is tasteful enough, as long as it's well executed.

Well, in our real world, you'll find children can be devoid of undesirable attitudes like racism, homophobia, or distaste for those of lower class. There are oooooold paintings and photographs of children of different colours giving gifts to each other and playing when their adults would otherwise be at odds.

What I'm getting at is... I think amnesia could be part of Robin's strong character. Don't get me wrong; s/he right off the hop demonstrates a lot of good qualities like compassion, bravery, and combat skill. But, well, being adopted into the Shepherds is a good lease on life. Imagine if the bandits who attacked that town took Robin in and used them as a weapon.

Well the amnesia and meeting Chrom probably have a large part in that.
