The actual relationship development is utterly horrible since they get married like one chapter after they meet. But Inigo and Lucina become pretty godly as a result.
I'm thinking of doing Chrom/Olivia on my Robin/Laurent run. My biggest fear is I'll screw up and accidentally marry Robin or Sumia and Chrom again, though. I want to mix up my pairings each time (at least as much as I can- Chrom and Sumia are limited, so you can only do so much with them). Sully's another one I was considering because she comes in early so I can support them quick. Maribelle would make a fun queen, though.

Even if it does, just grab a few Reeking Boxes and get Olivia and Chrom to B-Support (I'm not sure about other difficulties, but I know on Normal that the Reeking Box battles yield Bullion so you can buy more).

The risk is worth it, though. He won't hook up with Village Maiden as long as Olivia dances for Chrom at least once. What I personally do is just have them pair up for the entire chapter and have Chrom carry her around.
Really? That's good, then. I'll do that after all, then. I was thinking you'd just put them together the whole chapter, but I didn't know if that'd be enough. Until then, I'll keep my Laurent run Chrom with Frederick or Lissa or someone else he can't support to S (though still reap the benefits of A support at least).
Yeah, I got used to putting Chrom with Fredrick for the first few chapters, then Gaius later on. It worked surprisingly well.
