You should not be sad; you should be ecstatic.I **** you not, my first For Glory match was against a Falcon.
Sadly, Falcon Punch connected this time.
There is no better way to go down than to a Falcon Punch.

Held up pretty great. Certain stages seem to lag a lot though (Arena Ferox was a notorious offender).Online? How did it hold up? My tries in the Japanese version were alright but lagged a little. It'd be great to know that online is better now.
Mine was against Little Mac who I hate to battle... Grr... I got slammed with a KO Punch.I **** you not, my first For Glory match was against a Falcon.

Arena Ferox seems to be an outstanding offender, had strong lag on that today, too, on a two player match with a friend of mine who lives a town over.Held up pretty great. Certain stages seem to lag a lot though (Arena Ferox was a notorious offender).
Connections were 4 players from Nova Scotia (me), Georgia, Florida, Alabama.
Huh, that's odd. I can't see why it'd lag on a certain field when they're all Final Destinations... maybe it's coding or music?Arena Ferox seems to be an outstanding offender, had strong lag on that today, too, on a two player match with a friend of mine who lives a town over.
The rest was pretty dang smooth though. We had one or two other lags on other maps, but nothing that was really all that noteworthy.
I'm not really feeling the Little Mac matchup with Robin. Feels like he can come in at anything and pound you into the dirt. I just use Sonic for that matchup.Mine was against Little Mac who I hate to battle... Grr... I got slammed with a KO Punch.
You know what this reminds me of?Nah, "damn" isn't considered too friendly a word said in the game. Which, granted, isn't that bad, all things considered.
Plus breast size discussion, Tharja's existence, some random sexual themes here and there... I wouldn't really put it up there with Mario in terms of being "appropriate." I can at least understand it getting a T rating in the U.S.
It's probably appropriate for young kids in Japan, sure, but not particularly appropriate for young kids in most other places, but, yeah, it's better than letting kids playing rated M games.
All the more reason to use Magicant.Arena Ferox is terrible. ALL matches I had there lagged like hell. Magicant, 3D Land, Final Destination, Tomodachi Life are all pretty good, though.
Dang...I was hoping at least Arcfire would control Little Mac.I'm not really feeling the Little Mac matchup with Robin. Feels like he can come in at anything and pound you into the dirt. I just use Sonic for that matchup.
Grand Finals of that tournament I was at yesterday was me vs. a Little Mac. Went Game 1 with Robin and got two-stocked. Hard. Then I went Sonic and proceeded to win 4 games in a row.
It's gotta be something about Robin. But hey, Day 1 stuff. We'll figure this out in a while.
Magicant rulesAll the more reason to use Magicant.
Wonder why Arena Ferox lags so bad...
Arcfire has the most awkward angle. Mac can just dash under and pulverize you during your endlag.Dang...I was hoping at least Arcfire would control Little Mac.
You are indeed missing something.I don't really get the hype around Robin. Am I missing something? He/she doesn't seem that great.
You're only an hour away from a challenge...I can already tell this game is going to take away my life, since 10 last night, I managed to clock in 7 hours lol
I was worried about how he controlled Day 1, but now he feels completely natural.Robin handles like a dream
My ideal smash character
Wasn't talking about the Omega version.Huh, that's odd. I can't see why it'd lag on a certain field when they're all Final Destinations... maybe it's coding or music?
I've been complaining about this matchup since day one. The way I see it, Robin has two useful tools against Little Mac-There is literally nothing stopping Mac from Dash Attacking your shield and ftilting or rolling away.
And there's nothing Robin can do when Mac pops him into the air and waits for him to land.
Yeah. Screw this matchup. lol
Totally, but it lacks RobinSmash 64 is pretty fun...
Link in 64 is better than Robin and Link in Smash 4 combined.Totally, but it lacks Robin
"Arcfire! Arcfire! Arcfire!"Seem to not be too familiar with the term "Zoner", though maybe the way I play as Pac-Man qualifies as one?
Robin seems good with his projectiles in order to fight close-up easier so far to me. Sadly still bit difficult to find "rhythm" in him that really gets me into playing as him in a way that gets me into a "flow".
How do you guys play Robin yourselves?
Ahahah. But you kinda have a point, it's a good combo starter. Seriously, PK Fire wishes it was"Arcfire! Arcfire! Arcfire!"
Like that.
Okay but for reals, here's my strategy with Robin. I tend to use Arcfire and Elwind the most. I'm super campy, I use those two moves to control where my opponent can and can't go. Then I really just jump in there with smash attacks. Always have a Thoron ready for a kill move, and if your opponent is kicking your ass, Nosferatu can help you tip the scales. But the big thing to remember is never let your opponent get close to you.Ahahah. But you kinda have a point, it's a good combo starter. Seriously, PK Fire wishes it wasElfireArcfire.
cries in a corner.
But really, it's good when it hits. I guess I'll try using that more often...
I know that feeling.I hope this thread doesn't die.
The people in the real social thread are mean.
Definitely, there's something that feels so great about connecting hits in 64, and that Falcon's DairSmash 64 is pretty fun...
I love how PM readds the best stages plus there songs.Definitely, there's something that feels so great about connecting hits in 64, and that Falcon's Dair
I'm so glad i bought it on Virtual Console. Also now that i think of it, there's something about 64's soundtrack (And Melee's to an extent) that makes them give a different atmosphere overall, i mean it doesn't represent franchises as well, but there's something hypnotizing about the highly synthesized music of Smash 64.
