Still holding out hope that MAYBE they'll release it as standalone DLC anyway, but not looking very likely, especially since it would remove a lot of incentive to buy HW Legends in the first place. And I guess it IS getting a pretty large amount of new content for the price, to the point where in all honesty making it DLC might not even be that much cheaper. Even still this game has become ridiculously expensive (to get everything) and it really feels like they're dragging the games lifespan out too hard.

Yes I meant to mention that factor as well, but I got off on a tangent.

If it was just a more straightforward port with a few new additions thrown in that could easily be added as DLC to the original I could understand, but making an almost sequel (more or less Hyrule Warriors 1.5) on a technologically INFERIOR console just seems so backwards to me.

It more than likely comes down to the fact that the 3DS is a much bigger money maker for Nintendo since it is a more widely owned console than the Wii U, so they can reach a larger consumer base, plus they can cash in on anyone without a Wii U or anyone who skipped out on buying the original. Business wise I can see their logic, but it's just such a slap in the face to people who dropped all that cash on the Wii U version and ALL THAT DLC, and they get more for LESS!

Again, as I said, hopefully Nintendo will throw us a bone and give us the new content as DLC for Wii U at a FAIR price. Otherwise I don't know what I'll do, because right now Linkle alone is almost incentive enough to make me buy Legends! My wallet curses you Nintendo! But I guess we'll just have to wait until March to see how things play out.

I'm REALLY hoping all of this cool stuff will be made available as (REASONABLY) priced DLC for the Wii U version, but with Koei's track record for these types of updated re-releases, I'm a bit worried.

I actually thought that Lana costume looked like Terra from Final Fantasy VI... she kinda does in some vague ways.

P-please, for the love of god, give us this content on the Wii U without having to buy the 3DS game. I don't want to buy the same game twice so that I can get more content. Make this DLC for those who don't want to get the 3DS version, like me.

If you get email notifications whenever they upload a video, do make sure to disable it until after you've seen the direct. I know I will have to go through GameXplain and Etika from Youtube. But, I don't have finals or work around that time so I'll be safe to watch it live and go all hand hungers at anything Sakurai throws at us.

Have no fear. The KYM crowd (of just 4 people that commented on it) are convinced it's Terra. At least Ganondorf's Phantom Ganon alt (or Trondorf) was well received.

I don't really have an opinion on the matter of King K Rool but-

You were for the most part, not to say that it was bad.

While I believe one should be free to express such opinions, I also believe a reasonable amount of tact is necessary when doing so. Then again, I'm not one to judge; tact is something I've generally lacked when sharing my unpopular opinions.

I personally believe K. Rool could be coming, though only due to popularity on the ballot (lets face it: K. Rool ain't relevant anymore).

I disagree with almost half of what they say in most cases, but I still enjoy hearing their thoughts on things. I also think this is one of their better discussion vids. I don't know what to expect anymore, so maybe I think that just because my idea of what characters are eligible has broadened.

Also, what Ash said starting at 9:10... I was like... ugh. FINALLY. I'm not going to act like these kinds of things should be a given, but you'd think somebody would've brought that thought up WAY earlier.

Okay, so I am up to Chapter 11 at the moment. Everything is going pretty well. Except for the fact that I've lost 5 of my units. They include

-Sully
-Maribelle
-Sumia
-Cordelia
-Miriel

Now, i can probable just continue my play through as it is but the probable is Chrom was Married to Sumia so I don't know what will happen now and I just feel like I should restart y file so that I don't loss these girls again. But if I do that, then i feel like I may as well have just soft reset when they died.

I'd flip out for a Final Fantasy Warriors! If I remember correctly, it was one of the highest games in a potential crossover poll that Koei held in Japan a few weeks ago, and I think Koei was pretty receptive to the idea!

Both of their color schemes are pretty similar, so both still seem plausible.

Sumia's only "retired" from combat. Things should be fine long term I think. Is this your first run on Classic Mode? I'd say continue this run until the very end! What you're allowing to happen is pretty realistic for wars. Now, if you end up losing six units in the later chapters, or you start with say fourteen units and come out of it with five units left... yeah you better restart the map.
