Hmm. I was going through my 30-Day Challenge for my blog, and I got the question "Most annoying character in any game?"

Took me a while to narrow it down! All sorts of options, Captain Falcon, Sonic from the Sonic X era, Slippy, the hat guy from Mario Party. In the end I went with a Phoenix Wright defendant called Wocky Kitaki. The only innocent client I ever hoped to be guilty in the series!

Who would you pick?

Probably Donald Duck from Kingdom Hearts, the first game in particular. He's just such a d*** to Sora at times for no reason in the first game, but at least he chills out in the later ones.

More importantly though the f***** always waits to heal you until AFTER you already healed yourself! Also he's a dumbass sometimes and casts elemental magic on an enemy of the same element (like shooting Fire at Axel in CoM). He's also a VERY squishy wizard, so he tends to die a lot when you need him most.

Like other new-old games such as Bravely Default and Four Heroes of Light, it has a cute stylized art style, story, and soundtrack, which features the same composer who did music for a lot of the new-old Final Fantasy games..

I was drawn in by the characters and art direction, and put my pre-order down finding out it's modelled like an old JRPG.

There is a Legend of Legacy demo out in the eShop that you can try. I believe it also has some way to carry over your progression when the game is actually released.

That said, I wasn't too drawn into it myself. I gave it a shot because it's Atlus and I generally love their games (Etrian Odyssey Embarrass) but the demo didn't exactly inspire me to go preorder it, unfortunately.

Aside from the usual stuff like Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XV, Zelda Wii U, and Nier 2 whenever that's coming out, the Odin Sphere remake so I can play it and not have to track down a PS2 copy and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. I love Vanillaware's art direction. Also, World of Final Fantasy looks adorable.
