I hafd a huge boost of self esteem during the morning, but it immediately came crashing down after my history class. My professor is pretty passive agressive and i'm not too outgoing when i'm not in a comfort zone.

Sorry to hear that. If this teacher is being unnecessarily passive aggressive, is there anyone you can get into contact with who you can report this teacher to if they are acting out of line?

My neighbors decided to put a realistic giant door doll of my biggest fear, CLOWNS.
And the worst thing is, they live in the apartment in front of me.
So, eveytime i want to get out, at morning, at night, that thing will be there.

Took me a while to narrow it down! All sorts of options, Captain Falcon, Sonic from the Sonic X era, Slippy, the hat guy from Mario Party. In the end I went with a Phoenix Wright defendant called Wocky Kitaki. The only innocent client I ever hoped to be guilty in the series!

I am probably cheating when I say this, but the CD-i versions of every Nintendo character. They annoy me because of how terribly out-of-character they all are, coupled with horrendous dialogue and voice acting. Link takes the cake for it. He by far has the most annoying voice and the worst dialogue. How did they butcher him so badly?

I'd say your Roy/Ness and Link were pretty solid, your Marth was good but you kept getting scared or decided to not follow me into the air at times, but you're pretty solid where you are rn.

P.S. I don't hate Rumia. I just get annoyed whenever the fanbase just gives her too much attention because I find her as unmemorable as the Aki sisters.

On the Rumia part, this is pure speculation, but I think it might have to do with the combination of a power that's typically very powerful being turned into something that's rather useless, and on someone who's also kind of an idiot and not your typical image of a darkness manipulator. The contrast gives her kind of an appeal.

(There's also the fact that her ribbon is apparently a power limiter, so some also theorize that she'd be ridiculously stronger and more inline with your normal dark power users if she took it off).

Plus, fans also put her into a group consisting of the perceived stupidest characters like Cirno who is admittedly kind of a moron, and the fact that Cirno is also one of the most popular characters of Touhou because of her perceived stupidity, Rumia gets exposure by the fandom simply making her one of Cirno's associates.

I'll admit that I'm a bit of an otaku, but I keep it to socially acceptable levels and don't act like an extremist.

I like my animu and mangos and much as the next guy, but I'm not stupid about it.

Plus I got other interests as well. Besides, I have a small amount of anime and manga I like and it's small stuff. Kinda grew out of the generic stuff.

They're heavily looked down upon in Japan though. Past incidents caused by Otaku/the fact that some of them tend to be NEETs doesn't help the public's opinion about them.

I'm well aware that in Japan it's generally not good to be referred to as an Otaku. Though here in the US, you can see it as an insult or complement depending on how you take it.
