Good morning tacties.

@ Wintropy Wintropy WATCH EPISODE 11 ASAP!!!!!!!

Gravity falls is just perfect to be honest.

:link:
Eh, I wouldn't say it's perfect; no show is. It has a few weak points, but they pale in comparison to the show's strengths, and the show even demonstrates the ability to learn from its mistakes.

Now, Episode 11, on the other hand, is objectively perfect. :awesome:

I like your avatar. Especially from that angle :troll:

Do you not know what ASAP means?

:link:
Do you know how much art I have of Zero Suit Samus and Wii Fit Trainer together.

It's a dangerous amount of it. Stuff less tame than that though

What are some weakness?

:link:
For starters, I'd say that there's a slight overuse of the love triangle in Season 1. They tend to use it as a basis for a lot of episodes, we know it's not going to really go anywhere, and unfortunately Wendy tends to play the role of a prize rather than an actual character as a result. It also doesn't help that Robbie is probably one of the weakest characters in the show. There's also the fact that there are not a lot of plot heavy episodes early on. While each episode is important in the grand scheme of things, people hoping for a series that constantly moves the plot along might be turned off from this.

I'd say that's about it in terms of noticeably flaws with the show. Now with all that being said, the majority of these problems are either directly addressed or dealt with in a way that minimizes their impact, especially in Season 2. While the love triangle is used as a frequent plot device, it very rarely feels repetitive, as each episode tackles it in a fun and unique way (not to mention that they didn't keep it going for too long). And despite being an object for Dipper's affections, Wendy is still a defined character that gets some pretty good development as the series progresses. And as for the plot, it goes without saying that things really pick up later on.

I think these are one of those weaknesses of why I kinda lost interest in the show and the zany air schedule for new episodes (comes 4 months after release, ****ing Summerween).

Theory: They didn't want the FE characters to out shine the original characters in Codename S.T.E.A.M. in fear that players would start to ignore the game's own characters, so they intentionally made 'em not so great. (?) IDK. Loses an incentive for me to wanna get a Marth and Lucina amiibo now...

Also, I love it when ppl comment in a Ace Attorney fashion :chuckle:

Finally got back to Radiant Dawn. Putting it in a spoiler anyways...
So I remember seeing here that Oliver is a playable character in Radiant Dawn. Well, I completely forgot about that and I accidentally recruited Oliver just because I was curious as to what he would say if I set Rafiel in front of him. Holy crap! I didn't even know or look up the requirements on how to do that! And the dialogue when you make him talk to Ike after that.

I could roll with that since they basically did the same thing with the Amiibo Characters in Fates. They all aren't too great except for Marth because of his awesome remixed battle theme.

We're not playing this on an emulator, you know.

Fair point. But, they should at least make them viable.

Also, who doesn't love Ace Attorney-like comments?

This statement makes absolutely no sense to me.
Only to the untrained mind, my young friend.

Actually, I don't have the slightest clue what she means by "blob". I get that she has a somewhat genderless appearance (when she showed you guys that picture way back when), but blob? I don't get it.

I'm rambling again, aren't I?

Better yet, ignore this post and go watch the funny Smash videos up at the top.

From what I've seen Lucina and Robin are pretty good units in Codename S.T.E.A.M.... I really want a sequel :(

And the world won't know the meaning of beauty until an Oliver amiibo is made

Ohhhh~

"Genderless blob" is my jocular expression to describe myself. :3
