Hey guys. Here is something that will blow your minds.

What if the reason that the sand is called the sand is because it is between the land and sea?

*sits back to watch reactions*
Looking at that reminded me of something kind of mind blowing.

Did you know that one of the sounds :4yoshi: makes (notably in Smash) sounds like he's saying the word "weeaboo"?

And now I wait...

We went over this already; it's an elephant shrew. I mean, aardvarks look like rat-elephants or a pig with a stretched out nostril and a body of a badger.

Or how about platypi, the weird offspring of a duck and a beaver?
It was a rhetorical question. I now you said it was an Elephant Shrew. Yeah, that aardvark has a pig nose :3

Also, Platypus are adorable :3.
I literally told that joke earlier today.
We have... invisible ties.:4robinm:
It seems our fates are joined :4robinm:

Wait, did you say it early in this thread or to some friends?

And now we return to our daily program of watching a flood of guinea pigs. Yes, a flood of guinea pigs.

I can't tell if this is profound, or absurd. :p

Nobody's wished me a Happy Birthday, yet. I guess I should be tying harder.

Probably because you can only see when someone's birthday is by going to the info tab on their profile page.....and it seems people don't really look at profile pages too extensively.

But since I'm now aware it's your birthday, Happy Birthday!

I understand how gender is a social construct, but if it is alright with you, can you elaborate on this statement because I would like to understand the term more.

I get that people and society read too much into a person's biological sex and from there extrapolate their identity, but I always assumed that would fall under "gender" as oppose to "biological sex." Are you referring to the dichotomous language of "male sex" and "female sex" itself specifically or the possible malleable nature of biological sex? Or am I missing something entirely?
I know the discussion is over but I'll reply to this just so I don't leave you in the dark.

Honestly the way I see it, sex is just as much of a social construct as gender. A lot of people say your sex is based on many factors like genitals, chromosomes, hormones, secondary sex characteristics and what have you. Except, one's sex is assigned by doctors purely based on their genitals. Nothing else. What about intersex people? These people have work done on them while they are still infants so that they only have a single set of genitals, therefore coercively assigning them to a single sex, so that they can fit into a label: either male or female.

Basically, I think we are not born with sex but it is given to us, for labelling/categorising convenience. It's as simple as that.

Sorry if my previous post did come off as me saying it like it's fact. I can get pretty angry about this stuff (not that I am right now).

But yeah that discussion is done now so let's leave it at that.

In other news, happy birthday @ IAmMetaKnight IAmMetaKnight !

Also have another Vine about amiibo (featuring **** Robin):

EPISODE 11.

THE FEELS.

In Gravity Falls, earth becomes sky
Beware the beast with only one eye
I know, right? :bee:

Not What He Seems is widely regarded as the best episode in the series so far, and I'd say A Tale of Two Stans isn't too far behind it. I think they really highlight part of what makes Gravity Falls so great; despite being a comedic and mostly lighthearted show (and a seriously funny one at that), it absolutely doesn't shy away from delivering genuine drama. And when it does, it hits hard.

Mabel breaking down into tears still gets to me every time I see it. :crying:

Anyway, I believe you only have two more episodes before you're all caught up. Let me know once you are and we can talk more in the Gravity Falls group. ;)

Oh no, I haven't.
Not even in any other Smash game.
It's more ridiculous in Melee, where you can't die from it like in Brawl and 4 and the technique is outright banned from tournaments for this reason.
Haha oh, that's pretty hilarious to see executed.
Kinda happened when my cousin and I were Luigi ditto'ing, decided to mess with it more.

A dictionary said:
sand (n.)

From Middle English, from Old English sand, from Proto-Germanic *samdaz (compare West Frisian sân, Dutch zand, German Sand, Danish sand), from Proto-Indo-European *sámh₂dʰos (compare Latin sabulum, Ancient Greek ἄμαθος ‎(ámathos)), from *sem- ‎(“to pour”) (compare English dialectal samel ‎(“sand bottom”), Old Irish to-ess-sem ‎(“to pour out”), Latin sentina ‎(“bilge water”), Lithuanian sémti ‎(“to scoop”), Ancient Greek ἀμάω ‎(amáō, “to gather”), ἄμη ‎(ámē, “water bucket”)).

You know, after watching this video
I'm starting to wonder if I should get into competitive Melee with Young Link.

I was saying it to you but it applies to everybody.

In other news from the Thracia peninsula, the early-game Pegasus Knight is stealing the show once more:
Fire Emblem - Thracia 776 (Japan)003.png

(not shown: +2 extra movement range)

Too bad she got fatigued, and I can't use her for the next chapter ;-;

Oh believe me, that's actually quite popular.

Maybe not in the way you'd expect, though.

Tfw you wanna put :secretkpop: at the end of your posts in the same fashion.

Except everyone knows I come from the Zelda social so it might imply that no one should take any of my posts seriously.

:secretkpop:

ye this isn't gonna work lmao
