I'm well aware that Wintropy is androgynistic. I just like messing around with folks (provided it doesn't barrel down to border line insults. I refuse to stoop that low!).

I understand how gender is a social construct, but if it is alright with you, can you elaborate on this statement because I would like to understand the term more.

I get that people and society read too much into a person's biological sex and from there extrapolate their identity, but I always assumed that would fall under "gender" as oppose to "biological sex." Are you referring to the dichotomous language of "male sex" and "female sex" itself specifically or the possible malleable nature of biological sex? Or am I missing something entirely?

Phew, good thing that discussion finished before it got worse...

So we have clarified that my character has nothing going on up there because he dropped his head on a tuba when he was younger, which is why his face is always blank.

His parents were also named Thomas and Steve.

Anyone here ever played, and/or beat Resonance of Fate, just to change the subject?

I played it until like Chapter 4 and then got tired of it because there's literally no plot.

Neat battle system, but when I'm 8 hours in with literally no story, some mistakes have been made by the directors of the game.

I think I made it to Ch. 5 and then stopped for similar reasons as @ Raziek . I did youtube it and if I recall correctly, the story didn't really have a point until like the last two hours. I also thought it was kind of a chore because you would be going through a new dungeon and there would be no way to heal efficiently before a boss unless you exited the dungeon. But because the enemies respawn, and they're often by no means a walk in the park, you could find yourself with the same problem again.

DP would fit very well with the Nohr roster.

You guys left literally before the plot started getting there. It focuses mainly on the trio's relationship until then. Even once the plot shows up, it can still be hard to decipher what's going on due to jigsaw puzzle plot. It's true that it didn't really become personal to them until close to the end, but it did hint at their involvements throughout the game. And it did have a point, it showed Rowen and Sullivan both trying to help, but ending up being the de-facto antagonists due to them making the protagonist's lives harder.
And you heal at the end of every battle, unless you're talking direct damage. If you don't have any Perfect Aids than you'll need to channel you're inner Rawman, which I personally had fun with.
I, personally, really loved the game. Heck, it's probably my favorite. It really tried to be different and did good. I really hope they all return for Project X Zone 2.
