Most orphanages would take almost a year to be built in the Kingdom of Nohr. But St. Garon personally constructed the building and was able to finish the project in just two months. We asked St. Garon why he built the orphanage and said,

"I saw a child in the streets of Nohr with no family or a place to call home. No child deserves to be punished like that so I made it my duty to build this orphanage."

We asked some Nohrians for their thoughts on the manner.

The Fire Emblem characters are at best high-mid tier (possibly Roy and maybe Robin) and at worst low-mid tier (Lucina).
To call them joke characters, especially Marth, is wrong.

According to TV Tropes, Joke Characters are "Characters, often in the form of Easter Eggs, deliberately unbalanced in the negative sense. They mainly have a humorous value and the fandom often likes them due to their sheer awkwardness or strangeness." So, a joke character has to be deliberately bad and unbalanced. The king of all Joke Characters is Dan from Street Fighter, a character that is made intentionally bad and is incredibly humorous (you basically have no reason to main him, other than to disrespect others). A Smash example is Pichu, a character deliberately made to be weak, can hurt itself, and even the game says you play as Pichu to handicap yourself.
Marth isn't even a Lethal Joke Character, a character that may seem bad but actually has a lot of potential. Jigglypuff in Melee is an example of this; you may think she is bad with her floaty nature, slow ground speed, and punishable specials, but she is top tier because Rest can KO opponents at such early percents and she has setups that allow her to do so.

So, Marth isn't a Joke Character. Marth is just presumably low-tiered; his nerfs between games are just so bad, but he is getting gradual fixes that might make him a threat. He wasn't deliberately made to be a terrible character, but he may have been nerfed due to his dominance in previous Smash games (same could be said for Falco and Meta Knight). He certainly isn't an awkward to play character either.
The other Fire Emblem characters don't qualify as joke characters. There aren't even any joke characters in Smash 4 in general; you can claim that WFT could be one, but she is a character that was balanced for this game (but I can argue that she was intended for laughs and whatnot).

I'm pretty sure he's referring to Code Name S.T.E.A.M., and not Smash. I can tell you from experience that Marth is tragically poor in that game (even the voice acting is just plain awful), and the others are all outclassed by the game's own characters as well.

I never played Code Name S.T.E.A.M. and I don't have the means to use amiibo functionality on my 3DS.
I don't think that IS would intentionally make the FE characters Joke Characters, but the fact that the FE characters weak is pretty sad. You think that buying a plastic figure to unlock some awesome content in games would give you some pretty good content, right?

I had a fun time too. Though I gotta say, subweapon spam is annoying as all hell. Probably should've used a better custom set against your :4link:. Arcfire+ has its uses, but not against a projectile spammer.

That said, your :4link: is(irritatingly)effective. GGs all around.

Arcfire+ is actually kinda boo-boo buttchecks imo. Yeah it looks cool and has some okay knockback, but considering that thing takes half of a moon phase to perform you'd be better off using something else unless you want to try to snipe someone offstage. Plus default Arcfire gives so many follow ups if you actually hit it. That being said though every once in a while I'll bust out my custom set that has both Thunder+ and Arcfire+ just for fun.

Isn't it? I fought him a few times as well, and it IS irritating, but he is very smart about it, so frankly we cant stay mad haha. If anything, it gives him a psychological edge thanks to salt inducing spacing.

I think those two are better in brawls than 1v1s, when others don't know they're coming because they're too busy fighting someone else. Still fun to use, though.
