In all seriousness though, it's not necessarily hate or anything but... do people legitimately think that Snake has a high chance of coming back? Not only was he cut from Smash 4 (and imo one of the most logical cuts), but the entire Metal Gear franchise was dropped altogether. He's also a 3rd party character, but unlike the others who have made it, his franchise has barely had any focus on Nintendo hardware nowadays. Not to mention that the only reason he got in was because Kojima requested for him to be in Melee. I don't think he has a high chance of making it back, and to be quite honest, I don't understand why people think he does. I really don't.

I think that the one vet that has the highest chance of making it back is Wolf. Aside from being a semi-clone (which we have numerous of already, and I've already mentioned that this isn't an issue for me), he's probably the only vet that has had little reason to be cut.

If Snake makes it back then idk. I'm happy for his fans I guess. Give me Impa and I'll be truly happy.

You have no idea how long it took me just to get to DLC Heaven. The wife The RNGoddess Anna didn't smile upon me at all. Even when I was able to access DLC to grind, Luna+, Vantage+, Hawkeye, and Counter mooks were everywhere. It was terrible.
Top it all off, I accidentally saved over it recently. All those hours for nothing.

In all seriousness Snake is only as likely as Sakurai thinks he is. I mean, really, did you think for a second Ryu was likely? No. As a matter of fact, aside from Virtual Console, Ryu's latest Nintendo appearance was farther back than Snake's. I'm not saying you should think he's likely as well, I just want to point out some flaws in the argument you presented.

One thing I've been trying to do for a while now is not get salty/frustrated on FG. It's mostly working but sometimes I still get mad at my opponents. I don't know why but it frustrates me when someone taunts after every kill, even if it is a SD.
