Well I just don't want to see any waterworks and rage in this if two versions get confirmed. I've pretty much steeled myself for the worst case scenario the minute I heard about the two versions in Japan but a lot of other people are naively setting themselves for some big disappointment. You're using Kotaku as source.
You lose.
Honestly, though, Kotaku is the only site that has confirmed it, and they didn't even show hard proof, like a vid. Not even the FE: Fates E3 site has confirmed anything on that matter.
So, I'm still kind of wishful.

And they didn't even show Dragon Quest Heroes! (Except in the recap) SMHTHIS THOUGH^^^ //cries in a corner
Noted.Well I just don't want to see any waterworks and rage in this if two versions get confirmed. I've pretty much steeled myself for the worst case scenario the minute I heard about the two versions in Japan but a lot of other people are naively setting themselves for some big disappointment.
Pretty much the same way I feel, except for SMTxFE since I don't have much opinion on it one way or the other. I'm hoping we will see more new characters for Hyrule Warriors Legends (that's a bit of a mouthful).-****ing hyped over the new Mario & Luigi/Paper Mario crossover.
-Planning on Playing the newly named Fire Emblem Fates. Am optimistic.
-Interested in Mario Maker
-Love the look of Wooly World, will play.
-Four Swords isn't my favorite Zelda, but I'm glad it's getting a successor of sorts, and that I can make Link cross-dress. Totes playing Triforce Heroes.
-Hoping Toon Link is playable in the new Hyrule Warriors. Looking forward to it.
-Intrigued by Star Fox Zero thanks to the land/air transformation Ar Wing capabilities, and lack of annoying characters (barring Slippy of course).
-Being cautiously optimistic about the spinoff Metroid. I feel some people are overreacting to it. It can't be as bad as Other M, and the last Metroid Prime Spinoff, Prime Pinball, was awesome (don't deny it)!
-Still don't like how SMTXFE seems to be turning out and am super pessimistic about it.
Pretty meh conference overall, but not terrible.
Is the an explanation for why Chrom is Darh Vader now?
"I'll never join you! You killed my father!!"
"No, Lukecina...I AM YOUR FATHER!"
"But...you look so much cooler than him!"
"..."
Darth Chrom is basically what would happen if Grima turned Chrom into his right hand man.
I honestly don't see what the issue is with two versions. Considering its only $15 to buy the other version, they would really need to only provide $15 of unique content to be worth it. Since its 5/6 of an entire story campaign that you get when you buy the second version, that's well worth it IMO. Then again, I am accustomed to story DLC being like 3-5 hours of content for $10-15, so this by comparison isn't as bad. Oh, and the base game is only $40 anyways, so still less than a new AAA game on any other system. You're using Kotaku as source.

Oh, in that case, yeah I can see that being a huge problem.
I see problems with it.
Because games are freaking expensive where I live.
I'll have to pay the equivalent to almost $200 if I want everything the game has to offer, and that's not counting amiibo.
and that's not counting the fact I won't even be able to buy the DLC from eShop, because eShop simply won't accept my National credit cards.
Nah, don't call yourself ignorantOh, in that case, yeah I can see that being a huge problem.
Leave it to me as the ignorant American to forget that games are expensive as heck in a lot of other places.
You have one hope: in japan there is a $70 dollar (equivalent) bundle that has both versions plus the 3ed DLC (when its released). Hopefully everywhere else gets the same option.Nah, don't call yourself ignorant
It's ok, you don't live here, so you don't need to know, nor you have any way to.
It'll be just a huge headache for me in particular, but it's not like I'm not used to it. I still hate the fact that the game is going to be split, but I can see the reasoning behind it.
I'll just have to save money, I guess, I don't want to lose any of the storylines, as much as only one already count for a complete game, I don't think I will have the complete experiece if I do only one path. Not sure what I can for the Third Path dlc, though.
Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for.You have one hope: in japan there is a $70 dollar (equivalent) bundle that has both versions plus the 3ed DLC (when its released). Hopefully everywhere else gets the same option.
Wow, the rating is still up?
Something I didn't know I wanted. So what do you guys think of Marth, Ike, Lucina, and Robin being in mariomaker from amiibo support,
This is bad! I'm legitimately worried that Nintendo will see this and say "Oh, I guess the fans DON'T want new Metroid games. Alright boys, put the franchise back in cold storage for another few years!"
LMAO RIP
^ This.Too bad a game that could actually be pretty fun gets such a negative reaction because of context rather than being an actual bad game.
Well the rage goes on i suppose.
*watches trailer*
My opinion is "meh", since the only Amiibo out of those I own is an $35 Lucina import from japan. (I hope they do a restock of all the Fire Emblem ones when FE:F comes out in the west like they are doing right now in Japan)So what do you guys think of Marth, Ike, Lucina, and Robin being in mariomaker from amiibo support,
Well, Square is creating a new RPG Ip, though. You either stick a name to the title and hope the fanbase goes for it, or you release it as its own IP in an era where Splatoon so the exception.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
At least this is still better than Male Kamui's English voiceIt's over 10000!!
