I could've seen Roger Waters live in concert. . . I passed it up. I've been kicking myself ever since. If I was as big a fan of Pink Floyd then as I am now, I probably would've gone.

Here comes another TUSM rant, two in the same day, even.

Back in high school, freshman year, there was this girl. One day in class I asked her what her last name was. She was kinda like "WTF" and asked why. I said "because I already know your first." She smirked, then told me to think about hot dogs, giving me a hint. Through process of elimination and the alphebetical seating chart, I guessed "Watson." I was right, but I didn't know the hot dog brand, Dietz & Watson. I told her I only ate Ball Park.

Now, I mean present day now, I realized I was flirting with her, successfully at that. But, since I was only 14, I hadn't the slightest clue. I hardly spoke to her afterwards, and after freshman year, I didn't even see her again until senior year. She was in my English 4 class, but she looked so different I didn't even know it was her until her name was called three days later.

I regret not following through, and not realizing that my foot was CLEARLY in the door..............I am so f***ing stupid... To this day, I still beat myself up over it.

Here's another "So there was this girl..." story.

So there was this girl. I knew her from like 5th-6th grade on. At the dances in 7th and 8th grade, she always asked me to dance. We were friends and all, and I was idiotic, so I didn't really realize that I was crushing on her like mad, and that she probably felt similarly. Never did anything about it. By the time I woke up, I convinced myself that she'd moved on. In high school, we drifted apart, and after sophomore year, she left for junior college, and I had a girlfriend. Life's gone well since; and I've had some contact with her over the years, but I still wish I'd at least taken the chance. Who knows where our choices will lead us?

Continuing from the last post, the thing about regrets is that they are already done, and there is nothing to do about it, no sense worrying about it. All you can do is learn from it what you can and move forward.

Still, it can be tempting to look back and wonder what could have been different, especially if things for you today aren't how you'd like them to be. Sometimes I wonder how things would have been different if I was less shy and insecure and more social, especially in high school. But really, it couldn't have been any other way, and now I have more motivation to change, and can appreciate what I am good at.

Ultimately, sometimes the past can be difficult to live with, but if you have some good memories to be happy to look back on, then you've got nothing to worry about.

Not if you had a chance to see Roger Waters live and passed it up! Good god Overlord, I would not want to feel what you feel when you think about that. I sometimes wish to god I was a teen when Pink Floyd was playing.

As for myself, I have no real regrets =)

I regret not making the massive disturbed concert that was at Penn State in April. I had a chance to go. The only thing that makes me not regret it as much is that I would of been stuck with a crappy seat away from my friends.

95% says that most of these posts will be about missed opportunities with girls.
in the male mind, the DEFINITION of regret is not taking up the opportunity to poke some girl that you think liked you even though she probably didnt (girls will do anything for male attention whether they really like you or not, this is what alot of dudes fail to realize).

just accept the fact that youre chubby, not particularly good looking, and above all, she was just being nice.

Not going to public jr. high, would've made more friends to know in high school.

Letting my neighbor borrow both my copies of Mario Sunshine and Melee. His family was robbed while they were in his possession. Got another copy of Melee, but i miss Sunshine.

Keeping my copy of Spyro the Dragon.
