Yes, sad but true. Nintendo sold Rare (or they left, I dunno) so, they aren't nintendo characters. All of Rare is deconfirmed for Brawl, sadly. That takes out some Donkey Kong characters as well. I wont mention them all until someone makes a grieving list.

Prove it. Just becauses you saw him in a Subspace movie doesn't mean squat. The fact that he is a playable character questions him. So this here is opinion.

Unfortunately todays update leaves me with little to no hope of Tails being a Pc. The way Sakurai worded it (something about if Snake is in then he should have a rep assist trophy) really killed Tails' chances.
Oh well, maybe the next Smash Bros.

Her chances are indeed quite up there despite what you personally might think of her or the WarioWare series in general. You're really rather dense if you honestly believe that her chances are any worse off than, say, Ridley (I'm talking playability here, not their respective chances of actually showing up in the game in some form or another). The same can nearly be said for Waluigi. Despite the protests of some haters, there's absolutely no reason for him to be on such a list at this point in time.

Edit: Oh, and while I personally also believe that Ridley will be made a non-playable boss character, SWF's resident Tails fanatic's (Jigglymaster's) main reason as to why that is, is completely unfounded. Ridley's theme music does nothing to sway his chances in either direction, to tell you the truth. I'm pretty sure it's called "Boss Battle Music (Ridley Fight)" because that's simply the rather dull name given to the composition itself (which was a fairly common practice throughout the early eras of video gaming, I might add) and makes no acknowledgment of Ridley's status as an non-playable boss character, unfortunately.

This might be a bit late but this remains the most fail statement in the thread. MUSIC deconfirms characters? Right, so I guess Live and Learn means that Sonic as a playable character has been a complete fabrication because Live and Learn could be considered his theme song. *facepalm*

And the TC's list is somewhat inaccurate. I would say that Ashley, Roy, and Black Shadow have slightly better chances than what this topic implies.

I'd put in the following:

Dr. Mario - Mario suit. Don't try.
Pichu - He evolved into Pikachu, and was placed into Melee as a joke. Don't try.

This thread should be people with extremely low chances. Like companion cube. >_>

This may be true for some people but I, and likely others, honestly believe that she would make both a reasonable and otherwise great addition to Brawl's roster. She is both aesthetically and mechanically unique and fills four three roles that are rather lacking in the series:

1) She's female. I know you know why I bother to bring this up.
2) She's a magic user / spellcaster. Smash Bros. really needs more of these.
3) She's a child. Well, she's actually a teenager, but you get my point (she looks like a child, anyhow).
4) She can grant kids to hell.

Perhaps, but what of these suggested characters' aesthetic and mechanical uniqueness? Ashley far outshines Miciciah in terms of these factors, which is probably a big factor in why she isn't as widely supported (plus, three Fire Emblem reps does seem rather unwieldy, given Marth's likely return). The same can be said in regards to most of the other potential WarioWare reps, unfortunately (or is it fortunate?).

Wow! Congratulations! You've just made another topic that includes Assumptions and nothing more. Also the fact that solid snakes series got a assist trophy damages your prediction that tails or knuckles won't be in it. They have a better chance now as assist trophy(probably tails).

It's ok to predict who will be in and who won't but when people start predicting and saying it's obviuosly the truth(or being to definite about it) that's when it gets pointless.

Gigakoopa, just because Knuckles is on the list doesn't mean he won't be in brawl in some way, this is just what one person is predicting(and it will stay predicting until the game is released or sakurai mentions something about it). I agree with Biggie Smalls. Characters that have appeared in both SSB64 and SSBM do have a VIP pass to Brawl. The original eight-Fox, Mario, Link, Samus, Pikachu, Kirby, DK, Yoshi will always be in every SSB game and Jiggly Puff, Captain Falcon, Luigi and Ness have been both SSB64 and SSBM, so I have to figure that these guys would come back. They are seasoned vets that many people respect and wish to return.

For those who haven't seen your other explanations, can you please explain why Ness won't be in? It's not as if he's going to be a clone of Lucas, so you can't play that card.
