Smash Legend
Of course it's a classic, but still, there should be some prime representation because Prime is still a part (and a reasonably important part) or the series.I'm sorry, but you're an idiot.
Suit from a junk shop? You have no reasoning for this, so I'll assume you think it looks like it's from a junk shop based on the sole fact that it's not from Prime - however the Varia Suit IS from Prime, moron.
The 'bloop' noise is classic, and also a good warning indication that a bomb has been placed - in Prime, the actual laying of the bomb is ambiguous. These bombs along with the missiles and a few other things are from the classic Super Metroid, which is the BEST Metroid, so stfu.
That song is not from only from Fusion - it's a song that has been in nearly all of them, and represents the series very well - where the **** is your reasoning coming from??
Who's to say there won't be more levels, or more characters like Dark Samus? I'm doing you a favor by responding to this poorly thought out post.
Bottom line - Super Metroid is the best metroid, and if they're going to represent Metroid, it should be from Super Metroid. Anything else is not a faithful/proper/distinct representation, as Super Metroid SET the Metroid formula in the best way.
Die.
That said, I'm fine with it the majoritarian interest being Super Metriod, because let's face it, Super Metroid was a much better game, they shouldn't switch everything just because a new came out (*cough cough* Link *cough cough*), instead the majoritarian interest should ALWAYS be the best games of the series, yet since the characters are representative of all their games, it doesn't make sense to not include some reference to older games.
