I can't say that for 100% certainty, but probably like 99.99% certainty. Damn we suck. But it's cool, we'll keep playing and (hopefully) get better. Just gotta keep practicing and going to tourneys. Really cool playing with everyone there, even if I was basically passing out all day long.Lol so west mi< melee<brawl
In p:m skills that is
Grand Rapids area got dunked on. Playing against real melee players makes me realize how far behind the entire P:M scene is over here. Idk full results though. Gonna put in more work though!
Edit: I hit a button and made my text weird. Woops.
fZK pulling no punches. That's not surprising.
It was very fun going over to Kzoo, you guys are great to play with.in the absence of a results thread just yet i wanna say thanks to all of you who came to make for such a hype tourney. upsets were had, the salt level was high, and **** went down. special thanks to all you GR/muskegon folks who bodied me in pm doubles. looking forward to future events like this in kzoo.
Didn't mean it in a bad way. We might seem to know what were doing and get a couple of wins with our janky characters but the reality is that any of us could not handle any half competent Melee player using Fox. I just don't think we're used to playing against Melee high tiers at the level that they've been plying them for years. That's where the improvement needs to come in.fZK pulling no punches.
Any PM tourneys this weekend (Aug 3rd)?
Us Muskegon goons are holding a sorta party Smash social chill weekend at Chet/Red's (A2 actually owns the place but more people here likely know Chet/Red over A2) and I just sent out the request to the higher ups, being Chet and A2, to see whom I can invite and provide information to. I may return with an update on this matter sometime later today or tomorrow. I'm mentioning this now rather than waiting to get the details back from Chet and A2 so that I can maybe try and stir up some interest/hype. Nevertheless stay hype you goony goons.I think there's something going down in Muskegon, but is invite only baby.
Oh no, I totally understand. I was just joking aroundDidn't mean it in a bad way. I dunno, I agree with that to an extent, but we just need good players in general. We won't be getting any better by playing the same people who make the same mistakes again and again. I might have been really exhausted at the Kzoo tourney, but I could still tell when I was making awful approaches and getting punished for them (just couldn't really fix it since I felt like I was about to pass out all day). I also noticed when my opponents would fall into patterns that I would pick up on but do nothing about. We just need to get to the point where we actually do something when we notice those patterns, and it needs to happen soon if we expect to be able to compete against anyone outside of our area in the near future.we need a good spacie player

No idea who you are but I like your avatar, so you're probably cool.On it. I got this <3
I feel like this is a meaningful point too. The space animals are characters with great moves that lead well into one another as well as serving as good ways in and out of pretty much every instance imaginable in the game's meta mind-game set up. Learning to play as a space animal and utilizing all their tools into working for quick kills and setting up for well timed tricked at higher percentages just makes so must more sense with them than it does with most characters due to how their moves work. When I introduce new players to Smash I advise them to use either Fox or Mario considering that each of their moves are just so simple and right to the point, minus each of the F-airs, that once a casual can see how the moves 'tick' than they've effectively made a good frame of reference for how others moves might work and how to make use of them. Back to my point though... once we can play a space animal and make sense of their tools we'll have better understood the immense significance of figuring out how to work other characters into doing similar things.we need a good spacie player
Weird how SmashBoards colored and spaced this part of my reply.
So Chet said that it's pretty much chill to invite anyone to his weekend event, which is essentially a party as well, so go ahead and show up if you like. Text me or add me and message on FB if you want or need more details.
(657) 229-2438Basically the active days of this **** are Friday and Saturday at any/all hours of the day.
Cool. Cool cool cool. I'll try to make it to that. Should easily be able to request that day off to actually go, which would be a nice change.West Michigan.
August 10th, Juggleguy and myself are having a Co-Tourney that is featuring Brawl, Melee, and Project M in Ann Arbor. Michigan Ranbats 3 and Body City are now conjoined and it is looking to be a Super local.
This tourney is a step in the right direction for Project M since our state currently has 3 P:M scenes. 2/3 scenes will be in attendance and it would be awesome to see you guys there.
I hope to see you all there in 2 weeks. I want to see if this state's P:M scene can finally get together as #OneUnit

I bring the beauty, the charm, the kawaii, and the fabu ^3^ oh and easy money for tournaments. But really I don't play this game at a competitive level anymore. I mostly go to events to hang with my ******* <3Pot fillers are always welcome. Also, nice song and video.
Well that's the best reason to go to a tourney :DI bring the beauty, the charm, the kawaii, and the fabu ^3^ oh and easy money for tournaments. But really I don't play this game at a competitive level anymore. I mostly go to events to hang with my *****es <3
