I can definitely say i deal with the same kind of issues, and im also 25 years old Terumi.. I have really debilitating Social Anxiety and beyond my work i don't do much with my life these days either. I would always like to be more social, but im always overthinking things and feeling hyper-vigilant and uncomfortable so i avoid new people like the plague. It doesn't help that my Boyfriend "and first Love" dumped me because of always needing reassurance and he was also going through a tough time and started shutting me out, then broke up with me through text of all things... Haven't seen or talked to him in a few months now, and im even more guarded to Love again.

It really helps to get out and hike and ride my bike to stave the depressive feelings, im glad you do that. Might i also recommend Meditation and Yoga? When i was doing it, i always felt a bit more zestful about life, and had a more positive and vibrant outlook until i stopped participating when i lost my Partner which has been quite a challenge.. "Not to him apparently though". ):
Thanks for the tips. I really appreciate it. That's awful. You will find someone. I had to call things off with a girl. I was giving her a chance. My friend notified me that she is a liar and was married. :( She stained my morals.

Betting on sports games and gambling is still illegal in my state. I don't want to go to ****ing Vegas to bet on MMA and Boxing matches for several reasons

1. It will take over a day to drive to Vegas
2. It's hot as hell over there
3. The crime rate is very high (especially robbery and murder)
4. A lot of the casinos over there are rather nasty due to not being cleaned
5. I just don't want to travel from one end of the country to the other

I'm an out of shape dude in his late teens who is too self conscious and too nervous to get a gym membership to become someone at least better than a skinny white dude (prominent ribs) with a belly who only looks average sized (besides being 165-167cm tall, short compared to the 174-178cm average) due to wearing shirts that are half a size bigger than regular.

At the very least it could be used to work off the steak hoagie I ate 15 minutes ago.

Do it without a gym membership. There are plenty of ways to work out without a gym.

As a scrawny white dude who tries to go to the gym from time to time, I can tell you, people really don't judge or laugh at you that much. Yeah there will be an asshole here or there, but I think the most of them will respect you for trying to get in shape. Though if you just want regular exercise, you don't need a gym, just ride a bike or go for a run a few times a week, it all adds up pretty quick.

Problem is, I burn off calories too fast (high metabolism.)

Then again, I did see a gym (Snap Fitness) that was next to a Sports bar and a Marco's Pizza so I could Eat pizza and watch whatever sports game is on when I decide to take a break. It's over in Dent so it is a fairly short drive.

Sounds better than me running around my basement to work off a sugar rush. Must be why we only buy Diet pops even though I prefer cherry coke and vanilla coke due to the sugar. Speaking of coke, they need to sell Vanilla coke more often, it tastes delicious and I can't keep buying them all at the local Sunoco gas station.

Several

1. I never realized that there were parts on me caked in enough dirt to look like I got a tan (I'm between normal and fair skinned) until I took a shower

2. I can't grow long hair because my hair grows more towards the front than the back, obscuring my eyes

3. McNuggets suck and yet we have to eat them because they are cheap

It seems my apparent jumping from school to a potential career, to different schools and back to other careers have left me in a peculiar state. I guess I'll buckle down and get a degree. Almost there, anyways.

Also I seem to be sweating uncontrollably. Just the other day I walked 5 minutes to a 7-Eleven to pick up some Advil. Temperature was about 70 F. I wasn't running or in a hurry. But still, 10 minutes later, sweat is pouring down my face and my armpits are visibly damp, despite only putting on the shirt less than an hour before. I'm not even out of breath, but it seems that doing such little things make me really sweat. I noticed this back in February, but it seems to have become considerably worse.

For the rest of the week we are supposed to have heavy rainfall and me with a 25 minute walk to work. Just add that to the list of things compiling on my anxiety disorder.

Final goodnight to my great grandmother. Saying goodbye is not a skill I posses this afternoon.

I hope my last words were enough. I love you.

Oh sweet, a thread to cry in! Here goes! (If you want to console me, tell me to get lost or whatever, quote me so i can come see it)

As a man of anxiety, i live my life mostly in fear of entirely random things. I have absolutely no idea what will set me and my bowels into liquid. Social gatherings? Forget it. The only way i socialize is in places like this. Though, i don't mind actually going out, i actually can, i just find it more taxing than normal people.

I also tend to take things entirely out of context and treat events like the planet is coming to an end. Also, no clue when that happens. There's these Earth Ranger commercials on TV and not one of those phases me.

Glaciers melting? That lost me and i have no idea why now. Moving a bed? "I don't know if i'll be able to sleep."... I do just fine.
Channels changing? I feel lost. Then i make do with it.

My life is quite a ride, i don't expect much of it and it apparently doesn't expect much of me.

Well, i think that's it... thanks for listening.

I'm fine. Held up better than pretty much everyone else, as a matter of fact. I actually felt out of place with my lack of open sentimentality.

I hadn't been to a funeral in who knows how long. Almost forgot how much it can hurt.

Oh yeah, i also assume people are out to kill me, at the highest extreme, or at the lowest, make it hell for no reason at all.

I hold humanity in extremely low value.

I digress, i should probably stop whining and console people, just so i'm not self centered.

Not sure if losing a pet would be relatable, but if it is, i know how it feels. Everything feels slightly emptier when you lose somebody.

But believe me, holes can fill up... for the good and unfortunately the bad. Remember, your loved one wouldn't want you to be sad.

Be careful how you fill the hole, people can get hurt if you go the "bad" route.

This is why i have little faith in doctors. I have the same issue, but i don't think i have the right to argue with people that actually study these things, so i just say "....Okay...."

I think i might actually get a spine one of these days and say "I'm pretty sure being nearsighted isn't healthy, but what do i know... i don't have a degree in this."

lol just get delivery
It's not delivery, it's delicio...

Ahem... anyway... i hear food is costing alot more lately. I live with my parents, so i'm just hearing all of it, not actually experiencing it.

I have bought a sandwich that costs 20 bucks once... that's pretty frickin steep, regardless of what you put on it.

I just wasted an In and Out Cheeseburger because of how my stomach reacted to it (I woke up feeling really burpy). I knew I should've just stuck to eating soup and other types of food that would be easy on the stomach.

What a waste of good money and good food.

Well...

I did OD on the Night Quil last night if that counts for anything. I drank it on an empty stomach too, so, yeah...(I was desperate to fall asleep).

I had such a terrible day today...

I couldn't sleep very well, and had to wake up early today because my mom signed me up for this Saturday class to practice and prepare for the SAT test... It was very boring, and lasted about 4 hours or so...

And when I come home, I'm a bit frustrated to find out that there's no news regarding the SSB4 DLC, because it seems that the ballot actually ends on the 4th. The 3rd being the "deadline" apparently meant that it was the final day you could vote, not that it ended on that date. Because the ballot's still up for me, and for everyone else too.

I later got into a bit of a dispute with someone IRL, and that put me in a really bad mood... I felt insulted, and even though we sort of made up, I was left feeling unhappy and stressed.

So then... I go on a walk to a nearby burger place for dinner. My mom gave me some money for it. I ordered a cheeseburger just how I like it, along with fries and a chocolate milkshake. Thankfully, they got my order right this time (they sometimes mess up and put additional things on the burger that I dislike, such as tomatoes), so I head back home to eat. I was already feeling a bit better.

The food tasted good, although I wasn't feeling very hungry, so I ate kinda slowly. After I finally finished, I felt really sick. My stomach was cramping like crazy, and I couldn't even enjoy my video games because it hurt a lot... I tried to lie down in bed, but I still felt very awful... And eventually, I threw up. A lot. My mom and I agree that it was probably food poisoning... I feel a lot better now that it's all out of my system, but my goodness, it wasn't fun in the slightest... Obviously.

All I can say is, I don't ever want to go to that burger place again... ;-;

Yesterday was one of the worst days I've had in years. I had my first big Chem exam so the day before I studied all day. Fast-forward to Saturday and I just go brain dead: I don't know what it was, but it felt like I had never even seen the stuff on the exam before. I spent all of the 3 hours attempting to complete it but I think I failed, (and I mean like really failed). I don't know what I'm going to do now...

That's odd. Have you asked why? Maybe it's preordered or saved for something?
Scarlet Knight Scarlet Knight

Yeah, I'm a bit baffled as to why they have it on display, and not sell it out to you. If it was a pre-order or some sort, wouldn't it be wise to have the ZSS amiibo held at the front counter?
Wasn't preordered or saved, I asked why I couldn't buy her, Didn't get a reason... I grabbed her and went to a different cashier...

I got kicked out of the store ;-;

I've been looking ZSS for about 6 days

Moving topics now... The second season finale of Rick and Morty was really something else. My goodness, Justin Roiland is a genius. Does anyone know of a Rick and Morty thread on Smashboards that I can discuss with my fellow fans?

You could always make one. There doesn't seem to be a general cartoon discussion in the Media Metropolis subsection.

I downloaded a popular TV show yesterday and today I received an e-mail from my internet provider telling me that they've been notified of possible DMCA infringement on my part. Don't know how serious this is, it could range from a first warning to criminal prosecutions. Judging from the e-mail it seems like its more than likely a warning but when criminal charges are in the the realm of possibility likeliness isn't too comforting.

My family is making me out to be a terrible person, again.

But of course when I was hospitalized, they were all nice and sweet, but now that I'm home and feeling better, they do whatever they can to make me feel like I'm worthless trash.

I'm tempted to break my leg or something so I can go back to the hospital. I'm sick of this nonsense.

My family kinda hates me....

They're biased towards my sister and believe she's better than me in every way, which is true.

They also won't let me get a job so I can get money and buy a GameCube. Which is ridiculous because there's kids my age with jobs and, well, you know, a life.

I'm sick of being treated like a preschooler by them, and everyone else. Mainly because they put me in special education and think I'm ********. It just sucks living like this.

As a result, I've attempted suicide a billion times.

Well you shouldn't believe that. No one is ever above nor below anyone else. Your sister has her skillset and traits and you have yours. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

Jeez. This family thing is a crisis. Well at least people on here can relate. O.O

Good luck with your family, mate. Hope everything works out.

Thanks, I'll get over it sooner or later. Living with a 5 year old niece is difficult because I always get blamed for her shortcomings and when she doesn't get her way, she calls me 'mean' (which is typical for a 5 year old, I know) but it gets worse when my parents automatically take her side without hearing my side of the story.
