playing league with my boyfriend has become a painful experience
the group i play with fights a lot nowadays

It makes me really nervous to play because even when they try to help me, it feels like they are being condescending
(Plus i tend to lash out if people act like that and correct me by being sorta mean)

They try to give me advice by 'correcting me when i do something wrong', but when everything i do seems to be wrong or my fault, its tough to feel like im doing anything right. I was having fun with my lane partner (Shoutouts to Tiger Woods here on SWF!~ Sej + Ashe so fun~), but everyone else was yelling and nagging and 'trying to correct' each other

...aka the blame game

And, boyfriend ditched our plans tonight despite the fact i didnt make plans so we could hang out without warning......
yeah im not doing that anymore. thats bull. i feel like an idiot for doing that. i feel like i have wasted an entire day.

im just not in the best mood right now

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, I was bleeding like crazy and was out for the entire day

I had to keep a rag in my mouth to absorb the blood that was replaced every once in a while.

I don't know if it was the pain, blood, or the medication I took for it that kept me out

Blood loss weakens you while some medications causes you feel drowsy, no matter what.

It could possible be both.

It's not when they have to go in and break the tooth up into pieces while it's still in your mouth because it won't come out properly.

Before the medicine kicked in, they failed to pull out 2 teeth so they broke them into pieces

The main reason I cannot play player games in League is because that describes 90% of'em in that community, and those people aren't even the worst.

League of Legends is for people who suck at Dota2 and love grinding.

The communities are equally bad, the games however, are not. (Both are kinda bad though lol)

Not but seriously it's a highly competitive game with a **** ton of random elements and weird double blind bull****. How is that even a thing? Well, people are willing to play Pokemon competitively so I guess we really are eternally ready to eat ****.

Well its easy to assemble the same team when melee was developed soon after ssb64, whereas Brawl and SSBU didn't start development until years after their predecessors. At least this time we gots Namco working on it.

Well my main problem is Sakurai speaks as if he was ridiculously involved with the games. Says stuff like "we made Melee for hardcore players and Brawl for casual players". Because of course Melee had such trouble attracting a casual audience right!? You know Brawl in its earlier builds was actually decent before he decided we all need to get **** on? No tripping, Ike could actually do stuff, etc.

The man has absolutely nothing to do with why any of the games were good and pretty much everything to do with the dumbest ****, seeing how he pretty openly admits to not believe in people genuinely winning at something because he's such a cool guy.

In other news, I woke up at 7pm. Boy I sure hope my plan to fix my sleep schedule works.

If you think that's emo, wait until I finish this big post I'mmah do on why I'm kinda sick of most "AAA" games. That regen health. Those scripted as **** sequences. Those linear baby mode levels.

When the industry is already in the slump it's in, they have to find a way to pay their employees in a quick and efficient way, or just fire them. We are already used to the whole make-a-project-and-get-laid-off funtimez.

Plus, writing and complaining about the games industry never works. People actually actively changing the system is something that needs to happen. Humans are creatures of habit. We like our safe little ruts that we are in

The fact that it sells offends me less than the fact that a lot of people seem to think they're actual games. Especially game journalists, seriously Jesus Christ how can someone play the campaign in something like CoD4 and be like "oh yeah, this is good".

The game literally has like one enemy type, and does nothing interesting with it. You shoot at it and move forward, then you do that some more.

And then I kill myself.

Honestly I think there's room for games that look "AAA" in quality but actually didn't cost a metric ****load. Dark Souls 2 is looking like it's gonna be one of those for sure, I am excitemode.

Well I do feel something towards the fact that people paid to review games don't actually give a single **** about game mechanics, just gotta dress **** up to look pretty and they eat it.

Falcon, you need to start looking at the positives, instead of always the negatives. I don't think I've ever seen you make a positive satement towards something. I know this is the unhappy thread, but just in general.


Yes the games may get stale and repetative over time, but at least they sell and the developer is still able to fund newer innovative games that they might be working on. There can also be too much change that people reject it. Final Fantasy XIII for example... The game sold well, but it had so much change people didn't even consider it a Final Fantasy.


Playing with things like this is tough, you can't please everybody.

That was my point.... Too much change can be just as bad as no change at all. FFXIII sold well and still pretty fun, but compared to other FFs, the game was suckish andd needed some major improvements that XIII-2 touched upon.

FFXIII-2 did pretty bad compared to 13, in general the series seems to be getting A LOT of **** from fans, especially with their latest mmo being absolute ****, they certainly can bring it back but FF13 did them no favors.

Also everyone hates Lightning unless they have the personality of a rock. She is so inexcusably bad, ugh. GOOD TO SEE SHE'S BEING PUT IN ANOTHER GAME, SQUARE ENIX UR SO SMART GAIZ.
