And yeh, Wigi and I pretty much quit Brawl, but we still play. I stopped playing really because no one in Brampton will play with me, and I'm tired of getting chaingrabbed and Metaknight'd.

But yeh, I'll still play casually, it's just I have no intent on playing competitively because the people in the scene suck and aren't supportive, and the things people do to win are disgusting.

But yeh, I'd totally come weekly and play with you if you wanted. I wouldn't mind bussing once a week. I bus down to my friend's house every Friday to play Brawl and he lives down by Kennedy Rd Tabernacle, which is kinda far, but I still bus. So yeh, count me in.

One of us would probably bring a Melee set up, and we could play both games. I would feel kind of guilty and awkward if I was the only one playing Brawl with you though, so we'll have to talk more about it I guess, and see if other people that play Brawl can come, like Wigi or the guys I play with on Fridays.

Those guys don't post here though, so I'll have to tell them about it on MSN or something. We shall see.

Anywho, new laptop, i need to find the software for me gamebridge, or else brampton is recording equipment less. I lost my cd, plus I bought a mobile PC, so it doesn even have a cd drive but dam this laptops noice =]

So, I'd really like to play you guys. I came to ... I think it was Desh's place? Before. Mostly showed you a Ness. I don't use Ness anymore (unless someone wants to go Doubles with me ^_^); I want to develop my Ganon, and Game & Watch. Well, all my current chars, I guess.

You guys made a combo vid at the end of 2008, I think, and I felt disappointed I couldn't be a part of that. I want to know what you guys can do and I want to show you my moves.

When's the next fest? I want to come.

So there's a tourny happening at Anime North on Friday, and I kind of want to go because some nub Brawlerz are saying that people are looking forward to playing me.

The thing is though, if you do good on Friday, you move on to Saturday and Sunday, which are days where I have work.

Also, 3 day pass is $55, and one day pass is $35.



I really don't think I should go because I really have to save my money. Olivia's mom just bought her a macbook, and she bought one for herself, too. She heard me saying how I wanted to buy one, and since she hasn't taken it out of the box, she's offering it to me for $1300, which is like...$200 less than what she paid, excluding the $300 warranty that she bought for it which I don't have to pay for.

Also, last year on March Break I went to Aruba with Olivia and her mom, which was $1000. She says that I don't have to pay her back, but I'm going to. With my job at Wonderland, I'll be making probably a bit over $3000 in total, and according to my calculations, $2300 would be going to Olivia's mom if I pay her back for Aruba with this job, and buy the laptop from her.


IN ADDITION, she wants me to come with them to Aruba NEXT March Break too, which would be another $500 or so. If I can get a part time job after Wonderland closes, all this money stuff won't be a problem. But if I can't. then I'm screwed. I owe my parents like...$100 or so for spending money in Chicago, so if I don't get a part time job after Wonderland, I'll have like $100 to myself after paying off all this crap.

If you don't want to be chaingrabbed, you could use Zelda, or Lucario.
As for Meta Knight... well, you can try to be the next Ken.

(I'd like to point out that I italicize 'Melee' and 'Brawl' because of orthographic convention, not emphasis.)

Be warned, I am a nub and probably wouldn't know how to set up another... setup in my own home. There's just the one power bar and I don't think there is a place for a second t.v.


Also, on account of your 'awkwardness' hypothetical, let me be clear: that I am trying to revive a Super Smash Brothers Brawl crew*. My interests are with SSBB; and my motives, selfish in creating what is needed for any of us to make an impression farther out. It is a selfishness, but not parasitic; it will serve us all.
Bringing Melee is fine, but with this I am not choosing to be "the" host of Brampton's Melee activities, I want to be upfront.

Those who want to get together *for* Melee may work out a system for that purpose. My invitation is for Brawl practice - Brawlers old, new, and lapsed. Come to plug in with people who want to test with you, and to play with people who will give their best to defeat you - but most importantly, to be there with people who can talk about the fight when it is through.

Anyone, bring a 'Cube if you can - I encourage it - but my wish is for guests to play Brawl.


*okay, not necessarily a 'crew', technically. I mean a local regional group — although if we did crew that would make me extraordinarily happy. ^^

Yeh, I'd be happy to come over just for Brawl. I'd like people to play with and talk to about it. I'm pretty sure I could get those guys I was talking about to come, too.

And yeh, Hack your Wii. Andy can help because he hacked his Wii. I don't want to hack mine, and I don't have a reason as to why I don't want to. I just...don't.

But yeh, talk to Andy about hacking. Limitless replays plus name tags are perfect for YouTube videos if you don't have capturing equipment that you can't use right then and there.
