i mean, i think i am. everyone tells me that im the best kirby theyve played. i dont mind proving it. and i come in second if not first place a ton of times in AiB tourneys.

No disrespect but you guys both really need improvement. Your Kirby is not aggressive at all...instead of trying to grab constantly and rolling...try using the A button... it's the Big Green button on the Gamecube Controller....and it's the Clear button below the d-pad on the Wiimote...That was not an Impressive match at ALL!!! That Ness sucked...this best Ness Player is Smash64(look him up)....again no disrespect and IMO you need to be more aggressive

No that isn't a good idea at all.

For one someone could easily post up videos playing someone who sucks anyway.

Also, not everyone has capture cards..So people like me have to rely on ladder records,recenty tourney results,and people vouching for me.

I don't know about you guys,but I don't have any strategies for anyone or any match up.I go into the game and play the game how it goes.

Also I don't even let a match up stop me from losing a game.If I lose the game,I don't even give the match up a thought.If i lose to a snake,it's just another loss,not because of the match up.

Actually what i got from his post was that we should talk about y who we think so and so is number 1 and why. Having videos or people's quotes and comments on the specific player being discussed would be nice too. We mustve been thinking 2 different things when we read his post ron lol


But yea videos alone cant necessarily show ones skill. Ive learned personally that competing against the player is probably the best way to determine how good some1 is. Hell, i thought i was gonna beat Hylian's G&W when i went to HOBO 10, but he ended up ****** me. Just goes to show you, just because you study videos doesnt mean you have a clear understanding on how some1 plays.


And Jamie i posted something about you here, but i think it didnt go thru because of maintence. So ill say it here.

You need some improvement as far as rolling and dodging. The guy you played was terrible. there were times he just jumped in the air and did an f-air and did....nothing....after... Just practice a bit more and id consider you. But the current nominees are all fairly more experienced than you atm.

alright, I have to admit it now, Ron is the best Kirby I've ever played. I'd say he's quite possibly better than ShadowDragon and Deg. I could barely get him to his last stock. I didn't win any games out of the 8 or more we played. :[

I don't know how he does it, but he reads me, and even if I read him, I made stupid mistakes or something and couldn't punish him. And he absolutely WOULD NOT let himself get fsmashed -_-

but his fsmash kept hitting me, sometimes with the back of Kirby (I'm to his left and he fsmashes right and still kills me) it was depressing.

And what sucks is a lot of people are finding ways out of the full Gonzo combo. Ex. Wolf's reflector after the first fthrow->uair, G&W up B before the reverse utilt, etc. D:

Gonzo doesn't just need the Gonzo Combo, he's just a really smart and technical smasher. Gonzo imo is the 3rd or 4th best Kirby. First is obviously Chu, second is obviously T!mmy, I've heard good things about Percon but haven't seen many vids of him. So I'd say Gonzo's the 3rd best and if Percon is as good as they say, then he'd be third best, he places really well at tourneys.

i honestly dont like to make hate over a game. And even if you dont think i deserve to be in the top 5 online, i beg to differ. Yes, when i said i think im one of the best, i was full of myself, but i just want to point out that im not an average kirby. i will get proof and start going to in person tourneys if i have to. although i am sorry that i made myself look like an arrogant person calling myself one of the best.

Okay ron, youre right. i dont want to fight about any of this anymore. you own me, and i just want to make myself feel better because i have no friends, no family, no people to play with. but thanks for the criticism, ill keep that in mind. i would love to play one of those higher people you mentioned, such as asidoh and Darkirby92.

but hey, is there any way i can play you now? i wouldnt mind a couple of friendlies. i bet youd own me like you did in the ladder though. but i just want to see where i stand, because i got better since the last time i fought you (which was i believe 1.5 months ago) and i have some more combo material.

oh, and i will record more single matches, because its true that combo videos only show the good parts.

as for vouching for myself...i have no videos, and ive been neglecting ladder lately as well (my rank is good but not what it could be).

probably the best way to get a grip on my skill level is to ask around allisbrawl. I've played a lot of great players on that site who will probably vouch for me. im not gonna list a ton of people here for the sake of avoiding redundancy but i know a guy like chromepirate (skill 1922 on aib ladder) would probably have some good things to say about me, we've played three serious ladder sets now so we know each other pretty well, and hes a cool guy.

of course, another way to see my skill level is to just play me for yourself, although i know lots of kirbies that think kirby dittos are not the most enjoyable thing in the world.
