I've begun to play MK now.

After a disappointing run with Falco last night, I've decided to pick up MK.

I've been working with Meta for 7 hours now, but I need help. I have footage, but no way to upload it.

Is anyone willing to record a few replays for me?

I'd gladly teach you if you lived closer to me.

Basically, approach with SHFA while fast falling and going back to approch most characters. Mix it up with glide attacks, glide cancels into attacks, tornados, RAR SHDA, and other aerials. Be really aggressive, but don't be stupid (i.e. putting yourself above Olimar or in another position where you are at a disadvantage). Watching Dojo will help you learn a lot as well, his approach is simultaneously straight-forward and excellent.

Ask specific questions if you need more help, or read the MK guide in this thread.

See, this is why MK should be banned, random people switching to the **** guy left and right, just because the aren't satisfied with their gameplay. Wow, is this what Smash has come to? **** I hate MK.

Yeah, but you were looking for help with MK a week or two ago so I just kind of assumed... Plus, the fact that you want to upload vids led me to infer that you wanted your playstyle critiqued.

Guilty. Although it wasn't so much that I wasn't satisfied with gameplay. I felt like I had reached a level of mastery with Wolf and Fox, and just wanted a 3rd main. That's all.

Pretty much. You know the pressure isn't going to let up until MK is gone. I want MK banned, but people making EVERY thread devolve into it is ********. Keep the talk in the right threads people? There is a reason they made a Should/will MK be banned thread in GBD....

Good point.

But still, exceptionally good MKs are more well known than your average run of the mill MK mains. You'll still get recognition, but maybe less respect.

If you do pick up MK, don't just use him. Switch it up a little, when you fight another MK main, use one of your other mains to prove you can win. That'll show people it's more about skill then the character you use, which is what we need right now...

Also, if you want MK banned, pick him up a little, but not in tournaments, just in your free time maybe do some quick matches with friends using MK, learn his strengths, but most importantly his weaknesses. This way you'll know what to avoid and what to attack, instead of complaining about it in every single new thread.

You sir are correct. Mk is hardly even used here. I'm picking him up not as a main, but as a secondary. If anyone noticed, Lucario is my main, not Falco. I just happened to be using Falco at the time. I could care less if MK gets banned, although I don't want to see it happen.

Ok look. First of all, you can GTFO my thread. I asked for help. You're not going to, be gone.
I picked up MK because I want to, not because I can't win with my main. If you read posts, you'd notice Falco isn't my main. Lern2read nub.

I see no videos of you, let alone posts. Look at your post count. Who are you?

And on top of that, who is the one that MAINS MK? You. I don't main MK, and he's hardly my secondary.
Why'd you pick up MK? Talk about the easy way out.
