The Taunt Tierlist

The only (original) ((somewhat)) one that sticks out in my mind at the moment is pika's down taunt, the one where he/it rolls on the ground. The fact that I remember it instead of any other taunts probably means its a good one.

And Wolf's up taunt is cool too, I guess.

Wait, I just remembered the coolest one. MK's up taunt, I think? The one where he spins into nothingness? It's like the cool counterpart to Jiggs's "cute" spin thing.

It might be more original, if Olimar didn't have the EXACT same taunt...

Also, I have to throw a mention out for Bowser's (down I think) one-legged pose.

I meant "original" in relation to what other people were posting--kind of tired of the whole"la la la la" and "show me your moves" bit. I realize that Olimar has a similar taunt, but it is also my opinion that Olimar is much lamer than Pikachu--not as lame as Toon Link or ROB or Lucas/Ness, but lame nonetheless. Hence I posted the one I prefer. Which is what this thread is about.

Why do people keep saying "for cookies are my god"? Is it a taunt that I'm not aware of?

Ganondorf's sword for EPIC FAIL. Even Sakurai said it! "What are you putting it away for? Use it! People tend to make fun of Ganondorf for this."

Taunts are something you use to piss off your opponents and rub in their face, right?

In that case (no particular order)...

- Sonic's "You're too slow!" - That sucker ALWAYS manages to piss me off, and unlike most of the taunts, this one is actually, well..a taunt.
- Wario's butt shake - He's more or less saying "kiss this," which I find freakin' hilarious.
- DK's I dunno/wtf/huh!? - It was godly in Melee, and it's more of the same in Brawl
- Diddy Kong's jazz hands - This is a good one. If monkey's could talk, Diddy would definitely be saying "What now, b****!?"
- Pikachu's ground rolling - The opponent can't help but feel horrible after realizing that such an adorable little creature has just owned him in a fight.

I don't believe in tiers because I think that, used properly, every characters taunt is equal. A skilled Ganondorf can use his taunts just as well as Luigi & possibly even better. Plus, with the metagame always changing, the use of taunts changes so there shouldn't be any tier lists. (j/k)

Back on topic, the best taunt is "Show me ya moves!" The amount of epic winnage in this taunt has generated so many videos on youtube that I think it wins god tier without question. The worst taunt is probably Ganon's sword (because it makes me mad at Sakurai for not making it one of his attacks).
