If these castaways have any brains, whatsoever, they allow let Russel and Rob even last an episode.

I'm actually getting really pumped for this season. I'm liking this group more than Nicaragua's for sure.

Because anything with returning castaways is automatically better than the season before it.
Besides maybe China.

In order for this season to be the best one of all time this is what needs to go down:

Russel and Rob are dumped into a pit. Two men go in, and only one comes out.

Noooooope. We just need Russell to get second again, that way he keeps coming back with an attitude.
Or if Russell changes his game up. That would be crazy.

I'm not getting my hopes up for Russel, as much as I love the guy. Everyone knows his game now so there's no way the tribe will be stupid enough to let him past 1-2 episodes. BUTTT he might work his idol magic again... lol

So who are your favorites so far? I just started looking at all of the castaway videos I'm trying to get a good read on all of them.

I'll come up with my four favorites to win the game at the end of the day. Two men, two women.
These may very easily change after the season airs, but I'll choose my pregame faves.

So far I have Sarita and Dave though.

You know what I'd love right now? To be able to see the CBS cast videos. Oh, and Krista confuses me. I hate her for liking Parvati, but like her for hating Russhole.

I liked Natallie in Samoa, so quite naturally I like Krista.

I can't understand a single **** word Ralph says. First boot please.

Ralph is hilarious, that guy's awesome. I actually like Andrea oddly enough. And no way Natalie's 19.

Strange, I checked the site and I didn't see anybody named Rooster. You must be thinking of Chicken from China.

So I decided that I am cheering for the Zapatera tribe (purple tribe). In case people are too lazy to look it up themselves, these are the tribes:

Omatepe [Orange tribe]: Russell/Rob, Andrea, Ashley, Francesca, Grant, Kristina, Matthew, Natalie, and Phillip.
Zapatera [Purple tribe]: Russell/Rob, David, Krista, Julie, Mike, Ralph, Sarita, Stephanie, and Steve.

My picks for pre-game favorites are Sarita, Natalie, Dave, and Ralph. I am also wanting Russell and Boston Rob to go AS FAR as they possibly can because they are both extremely entertaining and great players, but I don't think it's fair to list them as favorites.

Russell and Rob apparently have to draw buffs, ALA Guatemala, and that's the tribe they get.

If anything, it makes the most sense to bring these players back into this particular season. With Redemption Island gumming up the works, getting rid of R&R won't be as easy as it used to be.

But my pre-season favorites are gonna have to be David and Phillip for the guys. They're obviously the intellects of this season. But as for the girls, quite a few of them seem like they are real players. Andrea, Ashely, Krista, Kristina, AND Sarita look like they could all be really good players... Can't pick between the 5 of them.

You can say that for anyone though, What if it was Mike Skupin and Russell Swan coming back for Redemption?

Also, can't stand Krista, Ashley, Kristina, or Grant (anybody who's friends with Natalie Bolton is questionable).

Big Tom is hilarious. And really, nobody doesn't consciously talk like that, I mean there's no way. People with a British or Aussie accent, fine I can understand since whole country talks like that. But not even whole states talk redneck, lol.

well really, the heaviest accents are like, in Arkansas, not really on the coast. The coast has too much city in it.

Try Georgia, Alabama, and other areas. Those accents are alive and well.

It depends on what areas in Georgia you're talking about. If you live fairly close to the city (me), there aren't as many true "southerners."

But if you go out of the suburbs and into the country... That's a whole different story.

So they tried to make this strangely epic, and I'm not sure how I felt about it. Russell looks terrible right now, hopefully he loses a lot of weight by the end of the season. Also, his tattoo says "Keep Hope Alive." Talk about an ego!

I'm really not sure what to make of this. So, CBS is essentially short-changing the other players by turning this into a Rob vs Russell season. There are not very many happy endings here. In one scenario, they make it to the end for their big duel, and the other players didn't even matter. In another scenario, one of them gets voted off way early, and the whole duel setup is fruitless. I just don't get it. I mean, seriously, this is Rob's fourth... fourth... fourth time playing the game. I was offended enough having a dozen players play for the third time in HvV (so yes, I am annoyed at Russell playing again even though I'm a huge fan).

Whatever. I'll make the best of it. I'll rant and rave all day, but of course I'll still watch the entire season and love it.

What will the other players think? Why would they be stupid enough to let these guys live longer? I hope one of Russell's tribe mates buries the machete and blames it on Russell. He would have no defense. XD

Probst says he thinks Russell and Rob will make it past the first vote.
He thinks Rob will have a harder time than Russell in the season since Rob could actually win.
When the two decided which tribe they belonged to, the tribe who got Rob cheered and the tribe that got Russell sighed.

All of this was day one, right after the first immunity challenge, in an interview with Dalton Ross. Oh, Ross also confirmed they will not have immunity at all through the game, unless they win it themselves.

I think Russell will have a harder time since while Rob has a higher potential to win than Russell does, Russell's random hoarding of HIIs and random people being stupid tends to make you more likely to get voted out with him around than Rob. Not because necessarily of what Russell does, but of his presence generally vampire brain leeching. And thank god they don't have Immunity.

If these castaways have any brains whatsoever they will group together and immediately say "look these are the two biggest threats in the game and it's gonna be too dangerous to play with them, so lets make sure they are the first two out."

But for some reason I doubt that will happen...

And of course I'm rooting for Russel again, but I wouldn't mind seeing either of them making it far.

I feel like we're in for a good season cause this cast seems pretty good.

Nooo, I'd keep them around for their experience. I'd make an alliance day one with Russell. Because, as Jeff said, Russell IS KNOWN to keep true to his alliances. Unless you're Shambo or Danielle.

Or Ashley, or John, or Tyson, or Marisa, or Jaison, or Rupert, or Colby, or JT, or Candice. Sure Russell stays true to one alliance, but he also happens to have a million of them, and your chances of being one of those million that he backstabs are much higher than being the one that he stays true to. I'm obviously rooting for Rob to last longer than Russell since I really AM sick of Russell, and despite what Jeff says, I'm a pretty damn big Survivor fan.
