It slightly disturbs me that Ike is on the least popular veterans list. I thought it would be the opposite to be perfectly honest.

It's most likely due to how many people want Chrom over him along with the fact at how people hated how OP Ike was in Brawl. I would honestly love to see Ike return and i think he has a good shot at coming back and with his Radiant Dawn look, no less. However, i feel as if Chrom's chances of being included are also likely, so i wouldn't be surprised to see 3 FE reps this time around especially considering how Roy was intended to return in Brawl (based off his data in Brawl).

Not really my words lol. Everytime i see people play Brawl (whether its in a group with my friends or a youtube video) people always tend to say Ike is OP. Maybe I'm crazy, and I'm sure the popularity for this character may have passed, but what about Hector from FE? It's almost a given that any FE character is going to be a Lord in some way, shape or form. So, why not make it be the most unique Lord in the franchise? He uses a friggan' axe, for crying out loud. How is that not awesome? He could completely replace Ike with his power stats, and they could viably speed him up a bit with the range being reduced due to weapon type. I see a heavy emphasis on grapple, probably Melee-Captain Falcon-esque lag in his b specials, with his up air resembling something akin to his critical attack animation. Probably never happening. But the possibilities!

I find it completely hilarious how Lucario was the least voted veteran to return in Smash 4 in the last poll while Mewtwo was voted the highest. Yet, Lucario ends up being confirmed for Smash 4. Now, im not saying Mewtwo wont be in the game, but i do find this funny.

Lucario was shown first probably because he's the easiest to get ready. PT may be low priority, or just harder to show off. (We havent seen Shiek yet even). Jiggs is probably low priority, and Mewtwo probably has a lot to be worked on.

I bet they're still working on PT for both version, so he's probably not ready yet. Also, let's not forget that Shiek in the dojo before wasn't revealed until 7 months after Zelda was confirmed for Brawl. As for Jiggs, i feel like she wont be back, but it's just a small feeling. And you're probably right about Mewtwo.

Both PT and Jigglypuff seem to be in jeopardy honestly. Kinda sucks too considering how i liked PT and i thought it'd be nice to see them add the Johto trainer too since that was the latest remake (considering PT is based off the Kanto remake), but the chances of that happening were unlikely. If not, i would have just liked to see PT in his HG/SS design. I'd rather have PT over Jigglypuff, but that's really up to Sakurai to decide. Looks like we're gonna have to play the waiting game.
