Hello Everyone,
Our March Event was a TON of fun, although there was only just under 20 people for singles there were some GREAT matches, and I think everyone had a really good time. We had 12 teams come out too. Next month we expect more people, and we are going to have more setups too.
We are looking at having the event on:

Rules
Brawl Rules:
3 stock
8 minute timer
Items are set to 'off' and 'none'
All sets are best of three, except winners finals, losers finals, and grand
finals sets, which are best of 5
No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless
agreed upon.
If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by
percentage.
Metaknight's Infinite Cape glitch is banned. That means this can't even be
used to avoid invincibility at the beginning of the stock (to avoid
confusion).
DDD's standing chaingrabs are banned. DDD MUST do a dash inbetween chaingrabs
No player may stall a match using any technique which makes them invincable or makes it so the opponent must put themself in danger to peruse the staller for an extended period of time, if a player feels thier opponent is stalling the match they can call over a judge. If the judge rules they are stalling they will receive a warning, if it happens again that player will loose the match. Come on guys we are here to compete and have fun not use stupids techniques that make matches boring.

Melee Rules
Format: Double elimination
Match Rules:
- All matches are best-of-three. Winner's Finals and Loser's Finals and grand finals are best fo 3
- All matches are four stock with an eight minute time limit.
- Sudden Death will not be played. Ties are broken by stock, not percentage.
- Items OFF
Stage Selection: Advanced SLOB Rules, (Random First stage, Then loser chooses. No stage can be played twice in a set unless both players agree to play on in.
Character Selection:
- A double blind pick may be called at any time during any set. Tournament staff will judge the selection.
- After each match, the loser may pick the next stage (or go random). After this decision is made, the winner of the previous match may change characters. Afterwards, the loser of the previous match may change characters.
Teams
Special Team Rules:
- Team Attack is ON.
- Life stealing is allowed.
All other rules that apply to singles apply to teams as well.
