Sweet! Got my order in for the reissued versions of Scarlet/Violet with both DLC packs fully on-cart. Guess once I finish catching all of the Legendaries in BDSP, I'll be going back to yet another Pokemon game (I had just finished SwSh for all of the DLC Pokemon prior).

I don't think I've played up my copy of Violet since the last time Iron Leaves/Walking Wake were available.

Glaceon is often said to be one of the worst Eevee evos to use in the main games alongside Flareon. And what kills me about it is that it SO OBVIOUSLY COULD'VE WORKED.

Just swap its Physical Defense and Speed stats. Then bam you got a special attack sweeper with some special defense to laugh off fire attacks.

But nope, they insist upon bulky ice-types AGAIN. It's not as egregious as the Rock-Ice types but it's pretty damn bad. It doesn't even get Slush Rush!

Honestly, if Reg H comes back to VGC you could probably use it as an Articuno alternative on Trick Room teams.

Glaceon is a bit of a meme competitively but I think part of why its a meme is because it's so close to being good. 130 base special attack blizzard huts like a truck.

Finally went over how i currently feel about Godzilla now and I decided it hasn't changed anything at all.

Assuming it was true. Ishiro Honda was a known pacifist and his movies had anti-war in them. He even admitted to his guilt and shame of what he had done never enjoying it. From what I heard, not following those orders meant execution and whenever he could, he'd comfort the victims.

Learning about this makes me feel a lot better to find he never took in joy in any of this and men like him were drafted and forced against his own will.

I also praise him for admitting his guilt and shame. That absolutely takes a lot of courage and in some way has made me respect him more.

Seems in some way I had it all wrong.

So **** the Japanese military that forced Ishiro Honda into doing this. Hope they're rotting in hell.
