I understand that. But everything gets stale after a while. This will too.

Or maybe it won’t. Who’s to say. Usually I don’t think art styles and gameplay mechanics get stale so maybe I’m just being a Bob-omb.

You won't need to watch the first series to watch Nocturne but you should anyway because Trevor, Sypha and Alucard are all peak

As Schnee said, it's not really needed but the core trio of the first show is simply great, season 1, 2 and 4 are all absolutely amazing and well worth the watch, please, do yourself a favour and see that

Going through Mt. Moon was fairly easy. Zubat is a ***** to catch, but I managed to get a couple. I also caught a couple Clefables, and theyre quite rare and hard to catch. I keep forgetting Jesse and James battle you at the end of the cave but I managed to beat them using moves that they resisted even, with Oddish's Acid and Beedrill's Twineedle. After exiting I went to the Pokemom Center to heal, as I ran out of PP for Absorb, which I needed for Misty's Gym. Misty caught me by surprise and got a critical with Psyduck's Confusion. Oddish managed to beat Psyduck but go KO'd by Starmie. So I finished her Starmie off with Pikachu.

Team: Pikachu-S, Oddish, Sandshrew, Beedrill, Nidorino, Clefable

Yeah, I'd rather DK's movie design not be his new design in general. It's...not bad, but it only really works in the film's own artstyle. Either that or I'm just so used to the old one that it seems weird to change it so much after all this time. Even Mario's new design doesn't look that different from his prior ones.

DK's Mario Kart 9 design is still better than King Dedede's new design that that they seem to really want to keep for whatever reason.

Kinda unrelated to Switch news but

Spoiler: Diet/Weight

As of a few days ago I am no longer considered obese by the BMI and am roughly half of the way to my weightloss goals. The BMI has a lot of issues and my weight has been fluctuating a lot so I didn't want to call it too soon, but hey, it's a bench mark!

I tried on some old clothes from when I was questioning my gender in secret and even though a lot of them were baggy, the tops are obviously way too big now. And frankly I'm also just starting to look a lot better. Muscle loss from HRT probably has a little to do with that as well but tbh my muscles weren't very big even when I had the advantage of testosterone.

As for my weight fluctuations, I don't think the amount I'm experiencing right now is healthy buuuuut I think it's probably related to the chronic stress I've been dealing with. Finally got a reduced schedule leave approved today (I think ) so hopefully I can get the rest.

Overall though things are looking good. Between hrt going really well for me so far and my successful weight loss I'm starting to feel kind of good about my body. I'm hoping to slowly start swapping some of my men's clothing out of my wardrobe for women's. I'm already wearing a women's hoodie that I don't think anyone at work has noticed and recently got a pair of women's sweatpants so I'll have something to wear if I head out to that transfem movie night.

Aaah I haven't been to Universal Studios in a minute. A season pass was just outside of my budget for 2024.

I've eaten at Chef Toad's like twice and the food was pretty decent but very expensive. Still a really fun place to eat though, I'd definitely do it again if I can scrap up the money.
