X and Y were literally my first Pokemon games. My favorite region. My favorite Pokemon line-up. Had my all-time favorite Pokemon for a while.

Finally. Peak has returned.

Like far beyond what the 3DS could handle

Pokemon towns/cities/routes are always tiny in the games compared to the anime, maybe it'll be based on the anime version?

This game isn’t set in modern day.

The trailer says redevelopment of the city. That means it already exists as it was in XY.

They are turning the city the in a futuristic almost dystopian design.

The terrarium was 100% a test for that. We for sure get areas like that for Pokémon to naturally coexist in this future environment.

Gen 10 is 100% coming 30th anniversary. Would not be surprised if Gamefreak already has a team working on some aspect of it to get it as polished as possible before release.

I mean...after what Legends Arceus did with its starters (they made Typhlosion - the most mid of all starters - cool!), chances are the starter final evos are either gonna be really cool new regional forms or different evos entirely.
