We already know this is untrue because Pikmin 4 is coming out sometime this year

and not to mention we had a whole E3 from Nintendo with like 5 minutes of games and 25 minutes of Smash Ultimate.

(I also remember an event where Nintendo only had 12 hours of BOTW but I might have exaggerated that in my mind.)
